Prevue Pet Products BPV1151 Finch Covered Twig Birds Nest, 4-Inch

I have a mating pair of Zebra Finches, who have just laid their first clutch of 6 eggs in this nest. It's cozy and seems to make them feel secure when inside. The babies have all hatched, and though the nest is a bit crowded (and will get worse as they grow), the parents seems to be happy with the nest. I plan to purchase more of these, as I always replace the nest after about 6 months of use (they tend to perch on top of it and leave droppings all over it, and it's impossible to clean).Highly recommended for very small birds, like Finches. I wouldn't recommend for anything larger, as the nest is rather small. I believe these come in different sizes, so if you want a well-constructed nest, I'd search on this product name and see what's available.

It’s a very nice little finch nest. The birds will be able to use it for a couple of clutches.

Very cute and my finches warmed up to them very quickly. The hole to the entrance was a bit small for them though (and I'm sure it was intended for the birds to size themselves), so I had to rip off a few of the woven baskets to make them appropriate size. Other than that no complaints!

These worked out great for my bird aviary got them for my large Finch cage and they loved it!

Birds love it

The openings are too small, so the birds can't even get in them. I have three sets of finches and used one of the nests (the only one that was usable, due to the small openings) and a week later both birds died. It could be a coincidence, but since I'd had the birds for several months and none of my other birds got sick, I'm not sure sure. In any case-- will never buy these again.
