Cheap strap. Dangerous but good idea.
Threads fell apart on strap, too dangerous to put a nice guitar on. Idea is good, quality not very good. I sent it back for a full refund.

Expensive for the Quality
This product does what it says it will; it holds a guitar securely on a microphone stand. If it were $30, I would give it 5 stars, but for $60, I expected better quality. Here's what I don't like:1. You have to screw the device on the mic stand first, then mount the guitar while it's on the stand. Since one of the target demographics for this product are people with physical limitations, this can be difficult. I bought this for a friend with a spinal cord injury, and he has trouble mounting the guitar by himself. You really need a third hand.2. The device tilts on one axis, not two, so you can't adjust the tilt towards you. It turned out to be an okay angle for my friend, but I am obese and it was a bit awkward when I tried it.3. To adjust the tilt, you have to take the guitar off the device, use the provided allen wrench, remove a screw, adjust the tilt, replace the screw, and reattach the guitar. Both of these issues could be resolved with either a spring-loaded pin or a tension screw with a knob (similar to many mic stands) on the back of the device.4. The allen wrench is taped to the device. Taped! How hard would it have been to fashion a slot or some kind of snap thing to hold it?5. The whole thing feels flimsy. I have no idea how durable it is or isn't, but it feels cheaply made.Bottom line: It does what it says it does, and I would buy it again, but only because it is the only option. However, the quality needs to improve or the price needs to drop in order for this to be a good value.Edit: After three months, one of the ends started coming loose from the strap. We sewed it back on, but who knows how long that will hold. I cringe thinking that my friend's thousand dollar guitar may hit the ground because this manufacturer didn't want to spend an extra buck or two to provide a quality strap. I dropped the rating from three stars to two for this reason.

stand is good, strap is worthless
Took off the dainty strap it came with just used my own regular guitar strap. Fed both ends through like they show enough where the connection was secure on the guitar. Have left my 7 string suspended for 3-4 days now no sign of cracking or breaking. I'm sure the strap it came with would have eventually ripped...may contact their customer service and see what's up with that.As far as playability, only the bottom rubber contact points touches the guitar because my strap won't tighten anymore, but I just raise the stand and it works awesomely. Can play and not worry about your playing the stand moves with my playing so I don't feel restricted. Would've gave 5 stars if it came with a proper strap

A wonderful product - just make sure you get a good accompanying mic stand....
As a veteran guitar player, I grew tired of unplugging, replugging and throwing guitars on and off my shoulders in between songs during gigs; it takes too much time and I'm sure audiences really don't love watching it - watching Pat Metheny play his guitar synthesizer on a stand inspired me to look for something similar. I found the Mbrace Guitar Support System and, having since put it into action, I find it to be absolutely wonderful! The competing "Gracie Stand" is horribly overpriced and inconvenient to even locate and the Mbrace does the required job well. I find the fastening and adjustment technology that makes up the Mbrace to be pretty satisfactory; every guitar will sit differently on it though - for example: my Schecter 12-string acoustic has an Ovation-style back and sits much more awkwardly than my other, more conventionally shaped guitars; still, the Mbrace holds it up quite well. The only recommendation I have for those considering buying the Mbrace is to do your research well and spend maybe a little bit extra on a sturdy mic stand. That's right, the Mbrace screws on top of a mic stand but does not include said stand. I bought a nice, but economically-priced, round, weighty mic stand that does the job and holds my guitar up but it could definitely use more weight at the bottom. I have since discovered the "Ultimate Support Pro-SB Stackable Base mic stands" which would be a much better, although more expensive, way to ensure my guitar will not tip over on the Mbrace.

A complete piece of garbag
It's bunk. Doesn't hold anything at a playable angle. Anything it would be used with needs a pin at the back of the neck. This is not mentioned ANYWHERE... WHAT A JOKE!!!

good product
works as advertised - using it for bass guitar support and has been solid on a microphone stand in performance settings
