Chrome Industries Barrage Cargo Roll Top Backpack - Waterproof 15 Inch Laptop Bag, All Black, 22 Liter

This is my first Chrome Industries bag. I just recently began to commute on my bicycle on a regular basis and I needed a backpack that was weatherproof, sturdy, and large capacity. This backpack fulfills all those needs.It's basically a large waterproof "dump" style backpack- perfect for my groceries! And the fact that's it's a roll top means that it can hold substantially more when left unrolled.There's a secondary compartment that runs the height of the backpack but it's much thinner than the main compartment. It's also got water bottle/u-lock pockets on each side of the pack. These aren't very big and they don't stretch. I don't think I'll be using them to hold my water bottle, but I'll probably use them for small nicknacks. The large net style external pocket on the front of the backpack works well for carrying things like shoes, layers of clothing, my bicycle helmet, etc. Also, because of its net style construction, it's easy to attach a red blinky light to the backpack.Although it has a laptop sleeve in the main compartment, it's unpadded so you may want to put the laptop into a padded case before using it with this pack. I've included a photo of the laptop sleeve- it's basically a thin flap of material that keeps the laptop separate from the rest of the main compartment.Very comfortable and made in the USA, this backpack has become my workhorse backpack.I ordered my backpack through S&W group and I was impressed with the fast ship time.

This bag fit my needs perfectly. I wanted a lightweight bag to keep my clothes in during my commute to and from work that would also keep them from getting wet on those rainy days. This bag met my criteria while also being rather stylish and good looking. The bag is a simple roll top design and the inside features a smaller pocket/divider that I use to keep my electronics easy to get to.The straps are padded but not overly so to keep the weight down. The only complaint I have is that I wish all the buckles/fasteners/etc were metal rather than plastic. The cam device for strap adjustment is metal and looks like it will hold very well with use. Great bag, a bit on the pricey side but well worth it if you have the need for this type of bag.

I love this backpack. This is my first rolltop and I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional/clamshell backpack. The quality of materials and craftsmanship is top notch. It has just enough space for one bag travel but is also a great size for an everyday carry bag. The straps and back padding are very comfortable. The seatbelt buckle as the chest strap is a nice touch and I prefer it over other types. I like the netting on the outside of the bag. I use it to carry my wet grappling clothes so what's inside doesn't get wet and stinky. I also use it when the main compartment is full but I need to carry just a couple more items. This bags capacity can be extended past the brim as long as the items are stacked well, the strap is long enough to accommodate this. Once rolled down a bit and tightened with the strap the inside is 100% waterproof thanks to the sail type liner inside that is welded as its own compartment. There is an access pocket next to the netting that is a good size and can fit quite a few items. Overall this is a great bag and I'm so glad I made this purchase.

Great bag, albeit a little smaller than I had expected. Ideally would like to give it 4.5 stars, but since my first thought was ("I love it"), 5 stars for a slightly less than perfect item. Water resistance/durability are top-notch, as are the straps and padding on the back. However, there are a couple of features inherent of the design (a waterproof roll-top bag) that one should consider if looking at many different types of bags. For starters, This is a rather long, somewhat narrow bag, which is great for hauling things around (especially if on a bike), but smaller items tend to drop down to the bottom, forcing me to unpack then repack my bag more often than I would like when finding things. Also, If you sweat easily, strapping a waterproof load on your back won't help that problem. That said, I have yet to find a waterproof roll-top bag that didn't have those issues and I knew to expect that when I made this purchase.

I find this bag perfectly suited for travel. It can hold my tripod on one of its side pockets, while secured by the built in straps. It’s durable, waterproof and built with high quality in mind. Chrome does not disappoint.

Great build and great bag. I use it everyday and have been caught in the rain without worry. The capacity of the bag is very big and it is very good quality. The only draw back is that the inside compartments do not have much flex so you are limited as to what you can put inside even tho they are big. I absolutely love the cargo net on the outside and it has come in handy many times, carrying an extra pair of shoes of jacket or sweater. I even put an extra emergency outfit on the outside on a quick day trip I took. It hugs your shoulders well buy feels a bit loose sometimes on the bottom of the bag and can cause weird weight distribution unless you tighten the straps alot around the shoulders. Overall a great bag and definitely worth the price. So far it has met all my needs and I am very satisfied

This thing is absolutely incredible! It's tough, durable, and super spacious, and it just looks awesome!The laptop compartment is great too! I like how its lifted just a few inches up from the bottom, so if you drop the bag, the laptop won't really be affected.Oh yeah... when they say waterproof, it's pretty water proof. The first day I had it I got caught in the rain without an umbrella. When I got out and looked inside, not even drop got on any of my stuff.Overall though, 10/10 would recommend.

Ordered this backpack after my much loved backpack finally broke after using it regularly for over 10 years. As I didn't want to buy any random cheap one to replace it, came across this brand and read lots of reviews about it. As I cycle often, I needed it to be waterproof, strong and durable, plus comfortable. So far, I have worn it a few times, and have found it very comfortable and it sits nicely on my back. It has soft padding as well. I did get caught in a heavy downpour recently and my clothing got soaked. When I got home, I checked inside my bag and everything was completely dry so it I can confirm that it is fully waterproof. I like the cargo netting feature as I have been able to transport items that don't fit in the bag such a picture frame. There isn't a lot of space in the bag and I've seen some reviews elsewhere saying it is too narrow or small, but I find that it is sufficient for my needs. There is a padded slot to carry a laptop inside, and also a pocket at the front of the bag behind the netting which comes in handy to keep your keys or wallet. I do think it would've been nice if there were more pockets or compartments on the inside, to keep smaller items, but I can still manage as it is. Love the mini seatbelt buckle strap that goes across your chest as well!

Zudem bietet er einen guten Schutz gegen Wind und Wetter, da ich jeden Tag Elektronik im Rucksack habe ist mir dies besonders wichtig. Was auch sehr angenehm ist, sind die breiten Schulterpolster.Ich hatte den Rucksack für knapp 57€ erworben und kann ihn mehr als weiterempfehlen

Una muy buena mochila para mensajería profesional, el material es muy resistente, tiene estabilizadores de carga, un armazón extra para llevar comida. Aunque por si sola y vacía tiene un poco de peso, cálculo casi 1 kg.
