This wire is the toughest wire I have ever used ! you better know what you are doing when you are stretching it to make your fence look professionally done! This ain't chicken wire!

My Glorious dog decided to escape the fence so I replaced the standard 14 gauge welded wire with this 10 Gauge wire. It does the trick. It is heavy duty and will create a wall of steal to keep the dog where he needs to stay. Cons are this wire can be hard to work with since it is 10 gauge. You will need a good set of wire cutters designed to work with 10 gauge wire. I used a small bolt cutter. The other con is the delivery person will not be your friend. However with that being said, delivery was good with no damage, better than picking it up. You will need a dolly to move the wire bail . Must have when working with any fencing is eye protection and protective gloves. Overall, this is a good quality product that is not usually found in the big box stores so thanks to Amazon for helping me keep the dog in the yard.

Some people said it is hard to work with but it is easy to work with. Because it is stiff once you roll it out, it stays rolled out which is great. I cut it with a regular pair of channel lock side cutters (very easy) The 10 gauge is very sturdy and is very tight with no bulges or wrinkles when installed. I loved this Wire!

I have a backyard with 4x4 posts remaining from a dog-eared fence, most of which was removed. However, the neighbors to the north of me still had the wood panels up, in pretty bad shape. I have planted two peach trees that I will be espaliering next spring, and decided this mesh fencing would be perfect. After fastening horizontal 2x4 rails to the posts, I attached this fencing to them. I did get a little help in stretching it out with a lawn tractor before having to return it. Overall, I am quite pleased and plan to buy more to fence in the yard completely, with wood posts and rails. The gauge is very substantial and the welds are strong.

Making gabion baskets for a retaining wall. Excellent stuff, very tough. I use a 4-1/2" grinder with a metal cutting disk to cut it to size. Faster and cleaner than a bolt cutter. BEWARE- there's a ton of energy stored up in the roll when it arrives. When you remove the steel clips holding it tight in the roll, watch out when you remove the last one. It will unroll VIOLENTLY in an instant. Stand back or you could get hit in the head or cut by the sharp wire ends as it spins and bucks. This is the 3rd roll I've used and it happens every time.

Hog wire is usually about 12 ga. with about a 4x4 opening. This is 10ga. with a 2x2 opening. Cuts easily with a bolt cutter (can get a bolt cutter from either Lowes or home depo etc.). using a grinder to cut wire is to much hassle. Really happy with the gauge, opening, look etc.

Wire welds are very bad and the wire is brittle and breaks with a simple bend. I would not buy this wire again!

J'utilise ce produit pour un catio. Très solide. J'ai pensé retourner le produit après avoir vu quelque chose de semblable moins cher mais je me suis ravisée car sa solidité est incomparable. Oui ça semble cher mais ça le vaut!
