My boyfriend is an architect major. He's 18. Would this be any fun for him?

Unless he is far into his major, I think he would have fun with it. However, it is probably not a tool for a serious architect.

One of the challenges with the set is that the included book has no instructions to help young builders get started (or builders of all ages for that matter). If you are looking for a companion book with lots of instructions and more inspiration, please consider my book 'The LEGO Architect' - but don't take my word for it, read the 100+ awesome reviews on Amazon. (You can't build all of the models in my book with just the parts in 21050 - Architecture Studio, but you can build many of them.)
