2'x8' Teebaud Non-Skid Reversible Rug Pad Runner for Rugs On Carpet and Hard Floors

I was skeptical, having tried quite a few other products which failed to keep a long runner and two small orientals from "creeping" and moving when walked on. This product worked like a charm! My runner, which is in a long hall with multiple doorways and heavy traffic and which had to be repositioned every few days before this pad, is now staying put and only needing minor adjustments every few weeks. The two little rugs are finally staying where they've been placed.I have not had the experience of the other reviewer of the 4' x 6' pad with any sticky residue on the floor. I just checked and there is a slight, almost unnoticable, tackiness under each pad, but no discernible residue.For the 32" x 10 1/2' runner, we laid the 2' x 8' Teebaud pad under another pad (wanted the extra padding) with the runner on top of the non-Teebaud pad. At this point, any movement of the runner is due to its moving relative to the non-Teebaud pad, not due to the Teebaud pad.For the two small rugs (each 22" x 32" and smaller), we cut the 4' x 6' Teebaud pad into three pieces, used one piece under one rug and taped the two other pieces together under the other rug. Without any other padding, the Teebaud pad give some cushioning and keeps them in one place.Our experience is that it is NOT necessary for the Teebaud pad to run "edge to edge" with the rug in order for it to work. The runner pad is 8 inches narrower and 2 1/2 feet shorter than the runner and works perfectly. The pads for the small orientals are at least 2 inches narrower and shorter than the rugs and work perfectly.

Great rug pads for hardwood floors. These have a thin plastic adhered to one side, place downwards on hard flooring. Not sure it will hold in spills but it seems as though it should based on construction. The portion away from the floor is slightly tacky which is great because my wool rugs tack down on the rug pads and despite this plastic sheeting facing the hard floor, these do not move at all. Over the years I have tried so, so many rug pads and these are the best. The 2' 8" runs narrower than a runner that is usually 2'6" so no cutting was required.

Grips rugs like glue to hardwood floors. We've used this product for years. We replace every couple of years and there are no marks left on the hardwood or any kind of residue. We get a really firm grip, which we need as we have two very active dogs tearing through the house playing all the time. Easy to place down and the size options are great. Very pleased and will continue to repeat purchases as needed.

I had tried 4 types of rug pad on a hall runner before finding this product. Each time, the runner's slipping and sliding didn't stop, and I was always afraid someone would fall. From the instant I put this pad down, the runner stayed in place. It's such a good buy. I only wish I'd found it sooner and saved all the money I spent on useless products.

Love, love, love this product! I purchased only one initially just to try it out for a pesky runner that kept slipping around and ordered 2 more immediately after I received. It is IDENTICAL to the fabrication of a pad from a fine rug retailer that I was given to use with a $2500 hand knotted rug (had hoped from the picture, but you never know...).This is the only rug pad I would ever order!

This works. Period. I have spent money on so many other things. Look no further and order this. I wish I would have found it many $$$ ago.

This is the best rug pad I ever purchased. First of all, it is made in the USA. The quality is excellent. I am using this on a carpet, and the rug pads sticks solidly to both the carpet and the rug. It can be used for hard wood, tile and carpeting by reversing the rug pad. I will buy this again for other rugs.
