Read articles on converting Dryer exhaust heat to indoor, so I bought an indoor dryer kit but needed a long air duct. After researching and needing about 30 feet, I came across this one. I like the fact the material is more durable the standard material so I am not worried about easily poking a hole in it. After 3 weeks now the duct is performing as stated. Highly recommend it thus far, cannot imagine what could go wrong with it.

Use it on my portable room AC unit and it doesn't get nearly as hot as the cheap white plastic one that came with the AC. Much more flexible and quite long so you can move your unit much further around the room.

Used this hose to extend my portable AC unit. The black looks very good in my office and keeps the heat in pretty well.

I brought this for my ferrets to play in. The standard ferret tunnel that is actually sold for ferrets is too small for two of my boys. This product, though not intended for the purpose, is great for my boys. They love to run in and out and chase each other. I have to apply some thick tape to the ends of the duct, as they start to become unravelled after a lot of use and the loose wire can be dangerous. I will buy more of this again when my ferrets have rendered the current product no longer safe for their playtimes.

Good value for the price but lesser quality material than expected. The black layer peels easily and the inner metal is flimsier than expected. However...upon arrival it was well packaged with no holes or tears in any of the 16ft. Biggest perk is when my portable AC unit is on, it is quieter and more efficient with this ducting compared to my old ducting. For reference I have a DeLonghi Pinguino model PACAN125HPEKC and this 5" ducting works with that model and is the proper ducting size.

We needed a longer duct to better position our portable a/c. This was a good choice except: the initial off-gassing odor was terrible in the confined space of a bedroom. My guess is that the extra length taxed our a/c making the hose very hot, thereby causing the smell. Also contributed to extra generated heat. Not recommended unless your setup is different.

Not worth the money or extreme hassle making this fit standard USA made duct fittings.Plastic is crinkly and feels old as opposed to new and malleable.Do not recommend.

While this isnt insulated, it is quality. I needed a temporary HVAC vent for a hot room and this served its purpose. Quality material, very flexible and durable. Great for the money. It does have a strange odor to it that has got better over the past month but not overwhelming. Can stretch out far or be short.

Used this to build a low-cost DIY window kit for my portable air conditioner. Using a sheet of melamine with a 5-5/8" hole cut out of it. Much cheaper and just as efficient as a factory option. Very impressed! Now i can move the AC between the rooms 👌
