Purchased this product to make microwave bowl and plate holders. It sews beautifully and is easy to use. It is not bulky. Sewed with cotton fabric. It helps protect hands from bowls and plates that may get hot in the microwave. The product does not lose its shape after using it multiple times in the microwave. I have put the bowl and plate holders made with wrap-n-zap in washer and dryer and it holds up well. It is a great product and I will definitely purchase again.

This stuff works great in the microwave. I've just gotten a new microwave and bowl cozies were suddenly VERY necessary. This product was ideal. The product is very safe since it doesn't have the sprayed-on scrim of other batting, but you have to be careful because it is more likely to stretch during quilting. I used 2 layers in all my cozies, but you might be able to use only 1 if you have a lower powered microwave. The amount in a package isn't what you'd get in other batting, but that's because it is designed for a specific purpose. You can still get a LOT of projects out of 1 package. I got 8 cozies of 2 sizes (10" and 11") out of one package - with plenty of leftovers. The price of the package is great. It's 3 times less than in the craft stores (major chain store) near me. I've bought extra packages for the possibility of future use, and I highly recommend it.

If you ever quilt anything, and especially if you quilt small items, this is the stuff to use. It adds some high-tech magic to an ancient hand skill by making it SO much easier for the needle to pass through, without pulling any of the stuffing fibers along for the ride. It's also very easy to cut the exact amount you need, as the material has body of its own and is much easier to handle than a big, heavy piece of cotton batting. On a finished piece, the foam-plus-fabric backing material is indistinguishable from traditional cotton or cotton-blend backing, except possibly it's slightly lighter and a little more springy--but it's exactly what you want a quilted piece to feel like, and the ease of sewing through it means your stitches will be even. This backing will not shred or "eat" your thread. I make very tiny, hand-quilted items, and I only use this now. If I ever make a larger piece, I will absolutely use this. It has made hand-quilting at least 50 percent easier.

Love wrap n zap for making microwaveable items. I found that I can get better price at Hobby Lobby. So probably won’t order again unless the price on Amazon goes lower

Easy to quilt, not much static, fair amount of fuzzy while sewing. Was a little thinner than I expected but quality is good. Doesnt bunch up while sewing, but I did iron out all the folds/creases before working with it. I would buy again.

I have been using it to make bowl cozies and they were a bit. Exactly what I wanted. I didn't see any issues. The thickness kind of varies slightly (some parts more or less thick by maybe a cm). Softness is what you would also expect. Not sure if washability yet - but I did not prewash because a lot of folks told me it would disintegrate after taking it out. I'm personally not worried about pilling. Easy to use, easy to cut and sew. Doesn't fall apart and leave a huge mess. Size, I did not check, but seemed correct.
