Beautiful Robes Women's Pines & Cranes Cotton Kimono Plus Size

Beautiful fabric. The green and blue and gold designs have a sheen to them. So nice to feel pretty in cotton. The fabric is a smooth cotton, not soft and fuzzy. I will dry clean it, so it doesn't shrink. I'm 5'6" and 225 pounds with a big belly. This wraps around me with room to spare, and the length is perfect, right to the top of my foot. The sleeves hit me almost to my wrists. For those who have said the tie wasn't included, they must have forgotten to look inside the sleeves. It's folded up and attached inside the sleeve. So, if you just shake it, the tie will not come out. You have to look inside the sleeve and cut the strings attaching it. I'd prefer that there were loops for the tie, but that's not a big deal. I just wrap the tie around the hanger when I hang it up. This was a huge splurge for me, and I'm really happy with it.

I live in New Orleans, so the robe is very nice & breathable. Overall, I think it is a good buy, but I don't like two things:1. As described, there are no loops for the tie & no inside tie.2. I am a size 14 & 5'5" & the robe is way too big for me. The sleeves are drop sleeves, and the robe is almost too long. If you are 5'4 or under, you will have to hem it.

This is a beautiful robe. My only complaints are, as others have said, the lack of loops and the stiffness of the fabric. A good soak in warm water and fabric softener will cure the latter. The belt is long enough that you can snip off some fabric and make belt loops. The robe is very well made and I expect to have it for many years.

I'm 5'11" and a size 14. That puts me in the border between regular and plus sizes. I was looking for a lightweight, modest robe to wear while in the hospital that would accommodate iv lines. This robe works perfectly for that. The extra sizing allows for the front to overlap enough to cover the knees while sitting upright. I took away one star because the cloth has a rather rough weave/texture. I expected a finer weave for the price. Laundering it as per directions with a little extra fabric softener helped soften the texture. Shrinkage was minimal, but I'm glad I did not order it in the regular size!

I had a kimono that I had purchased over 10 years ago in "Japan" at Epcot in Disneyworld. I've been looking for something similar for some time and this is it. It's long enough (usually a problem for me) and there's plenty of fabric to wrap around and cover up, even when sitting. Cotton is so much cooler in the summer, and this robe is light enough to pack, even in a carry-on. I haven't washed it yet, so can't address how that turns out, but so far, so good!

I like the extra large size of this yukata cotton robe. I love the print as well. I would definitely reorder when the time comes. The only minor issue is the fabric does not soften with washing and using fabric softener, but this is truly minor.

Any plus size woman who has pored through racks of ugly and uninspired sleepwear deserves this gorgeous kimono! I'm tall and wear a 2x and this fits perfectly. Beautiful enough, to answer the door or step out to water a plant or two. I'm thinking of buying another but it will be hard to beat this vivid red...love it!

I love the fabric and the style of the robe. It would be improved if it had belt loops and pockets. The size is bigger than expected - I should have purchased the smaller size.
