Most people, (and some pharmacists) don’t know about this product. Boroleum is very helpful for people who are in dry climate. The texture is like Vicks but without any smell. Helpful especially in winter when the heat runs all night. Ask your pharmacist- they are always out of stock.

I tried many of these products for dry nose. This one, along with rhinase, are the only ones that work adequately for me. All others dry out my nose even more. One thing to keep in mind - boroleum is balm-based so for most efficacy, your nostrils should have some moisture (i.e., water) before applying it. This is because it seals the skin barrier so whatever is underneath gets trapped. if your nose is already dry, it is not going to work as well and you might actually end up feeling more uncomfortable. It is best to put it after shower or washing your face. The only downside is it is a bit pricey.

Boroleum is one of the best products around for chapped lips, try notes and stuffy noses. It is very difficult to find in stores and we were thrilled to find in online. I purchased two so I can always have one at home and one in my travel bag. An old time remedy that is great.

This is the only ointment that relieves my husbands bloody nose. It's the best!!!!
