Cat owners take heart - chew-resistant wires!
I've lost count of the number of sleep-headband headphones (CozyPhones, SleepPhones, etc.) I've gone through thanks to my cat's insatiable appetite for the cloth-jacketed wires those headphones use. She won't touch normal rubber-jacketed wires, but something about the texture of the cloth coating is like kitty super-crack to her.I've tried the wireless Bluetooth variants but the rapidly-waning battery life coupled with the jarring "YOUR DEVICE IS CONNECTED" and "YOUR HEADSET IS DISCONNECTED" signals that disregard volume settings and jar you awake just as you're drifting off make the BT models an unworkable solution. I've tried diligently wrapping my headphones up in a drawstring bag every morning when I wake up, which worked for a while until one night she just chewed them up in my sleep. I've tried dipping the wire in bittering anti-chew spray, but have fun with that when you accidentally get the wire in your own mouth as you roll over on it in the middle of the night. It was a long-running game of cat and mouse (no pun intended) and I was losing badly, to the tune of $20 or more per pair of headphones she ruined.Enter these little bad-boys. They do the same thing the original speakers do: sit flat and output sound. The kicker, though, is that the wire is thicker and uses a different coating from the OEM speakers. Still cloth, but coarser and heavier. Enough so that my cat has no interest in them. I've left them sitting out on the bed, no drawstring bag, for weeks and she wants nothing to do with them. You're not going to get B&W or Paradigm or Klipsch quality sound out of these and they're not going to blow you away, which is probably a good thing since you're ostensibly wearing these to go to sleep. For the price, they work and sound great - indistinguishable, to the best of my ability to tell, from the original speakers. They're stereo headphones with a bog-standard 3.5mm connector, tried-and-true, nothing fancy to go wrong, age-old technology that's had all its bugs hammered out decades ago. Plus, if my little gremlin does eventually develop a taste for them, they're much less expensive to replace and you can keep using the same cloth headband. These are a no-brainer.

Easy setup and works well
My mother is hard of hearing and used to put the television on super loud at night before she went to sleep. This bothered both her guests and her neighbors (apartment home.)I bought these little pillow speakers a couple of years ago, and she loves them. They simply plug into the television like a pair of headphones and she can hear the sound clearly because they go right up against her ear in the pillow she sleeps on.They come with a reasonably long cord, but I would recommend that you get a 1/8" stereo Plug extension cord so that you are sure to be able to reach the TV wherever it is sitting. She keeps hers on a small nightstand by the side of the bed and the extension cord allows us to plug it into the back run it over the headboard and down into her pillow. The sound is terrific, and the silence for the rest of us is even better... 😏

This product has a nice long cord. I've only had it a week and am happy with it so far.
This has a nice long cord and was impressed with the packaging when it was delivered. I've only had it about a week and use it every night and it seems to work much better than regular ear buds for me.

WASTE OF MONEY (updated August 2022)
Updated reviewSo I've already complained about how quickly these things stop working in previous reviews. I gave it one last shot. This time I also purchased Spiral Cable Protectors and SUGRU Flexible Adhesive Putty to protect these stupid Sleep Headphones. I put the Spiral Cable Protector on and then encased the whole thing in Sugru. Guess what? 2 months later one of the ears isn't working. Just like last time and the time before. This product is too flimsy to be on the market! It is a waste of money.-------Previous Review Below:If you toss and turn even slightly, don't expect them to last more than a few weeks.I finally got around to repairing them myself and once again within 3 weeks a problem developed in another section of the wire. I fixed that problem and within a month there was another broken part of the wire.I can also confirm that SEVERAL replacement earphones that can fit inside of this product are also trash. Between the time I bought my first instance of this product and now I've purchased 2 of this exact product and 5 different replace earphones from different vendors. ALL ARE TRASH. They all develop a break in the product within a few weeks. I advised a friend to buy this exact product AND a wire protector AND to encase the entire wire within SUGRU and guess what? It still stopped working after a few weeks. The world desperately needs decent sleep phones at a reasonable price but this one ain't it.
