Mix of DVDs and Blu-rays. Disney sure had some odd ball ones in the beginning that are included. Also, some of the later ones are hit and miss compared to some of the classics I think, but I think it is a well-put-together set. It doesn't include any of the Disney/Pixar films which is a shame, but I suppose there was a licensing issue or something that prevented them from being included in a Disney set. A bit pricey but still cheaper than buying them individually. Book that is included is just basically a timeline of the included movies with some info here and there but is a nice addition.
