Start out by saying I was really skeptical with this! Took everything out of the box and it was very easy to slide the pieces together and center the heating element in the middle. We loved that it had space to put everything in the ingredient holders and allowed for it to be placed in the middle of the table. Drawback is you can only warm one marshmallow at a time effectively BUT it’s not a deal breaker. Just allow for time to warm up. Once a marshmallow touches the hot element it will melt out but should cleanse off pretty easy. We loved the smell of toasted marshmallows and didn’t have a random Oder at all. Good quality for the price and a welcome addition to our family nights. We did allow all of the family from 5 and up use this. Would recommend longer sticks for sure!

Cord was entirely too short to use anywhere but on the floor next to the wall. The center part sits on top on the tray instead of the trays surrounding the center like I expected. They trays btw were a bit small and extremely difficult annoying to get all clicked together. (My boyfriend had to hold it down on the floor and step on it to get it all together at once after I fiddled with it for at least 20 minutes) Overall though, once it was together and we brought out an extension cord, it worked perfect for making smores. Only had a bit of smell when heating up the first time and it does get hot! Careful not to get your marshmallows too close to the metal or they will burn onto it. Easy to remove and clean in that case.

This s’mores maker is adorable and perfect for movie nights or small gatherings. However, I found that it doesn’t heat the marshmallows well unless you remove the stainless steel top, which defeats the purpose a bit. Once removed, it does roast them, but it takes some trial and error. It’s a fun concept and looks great on the table, just be prepared to tweak it for better results.
