It says tabletop dimensions. Is this meant to be used on a tabletop?

It can be. Each leg has an extension so it can be set taller for floor use. Without the extension it is set up for tabletop use. Hope that helps. Sorry for the delay.

Can you use magnetic letters on this easel?

If you read the listing it says all three boards are magnetic.

Is the dry erase board magnetic?

No, but you can find a magnetic board to place on the easel in front of the existing white board. My granddaughters use magnetic things on the kitchen appliances and love the easel for their art work.
