I can't put it together because it is missing parts. So now I have to wait two weeks to get the replacement parts? I'd like to review the product but I don't know how good it is because I can't put it together yet. Will change review once problem is solved if ever.UPDATE: Parts came way earlier than I thought. I put it together and I love it. It is a little flimsy and fragile but once it's up and has weight on it, it gets the job done. And it's beautiful.

When I got this bookcase it was missing some shelf dowels, so I reached out to the manufacturer of the company (Furrino) and they said they can't help me with it.. after going through the whole missing part and service request. What's the point of having a missing item request when you can't honor it, and they refer me to the seller MyEhut instead. I was baffled as to how the person who sold the item could help me and not the company who actually made the thing! Begrudgingly I put in my complaint to MyEhut and they shipped me out the dowels in less than a week. Amazing customer service, thank you.To the rest of the people complaining about the quality of the bookcase... You should know for the price of what you're getting. If you pay for a cheap bookcase, you're going to get a cheap bookcase, stop pretending that this thing should be able to withstand 5000 pounds. If you want a quality bookcase, pay more for a quality bookcase, but if you want a cheap bookcase that serves a purpose, this one is great.

I knew going in that this was not going to be super solid furniture. I just wanted a couple of shelves that would not owe me anything when I get bored of them. The shelf is a lot more cheaply made than I thought it would be. I knew it would be particle board but the finish is almost like contact paper so don't try to scrub it clean. It is sturdy but not long life sturdy. It was pretty easy to assemble. Took about 20 minutes. All the parts were in the box and it was not damaged in shipping. If you are like me and like to change up your decor then it is a good value because I won't feel bad when I put it in the dumpster in a couple of years but you won't be saving it to become a family heirloom. I also am not sure I would load it down with books. I have knick knacks on mine mostly. It does come with a wall anchor which is nice if you have small kids. Overall I got what I paid for. It may not be the best purchase as far as permanence goes.

(Purchased at $63.96 + tax) They only give you 4 shelves, However, 1 of them is required to be assembled directly in the middle of the bookcase. So, you are left with 3 shelves. (ODD!!!). Do I add 2 shelves above the middle for real books and then add the last shelf below the middle for the other real books then the very bottom for my 2 ft tall books? (Look at the other photos you’ll see what I’m talking about. It just looks weird! One extra shelf added to this would then make this a 5 star bookshelf for $63.96. I would greatly buy more if they added an extra shelf and change my review to 5 stars.

This would only work for very light weight items. Frame is not sturdy enough to keep it square. When I moved it in place the whole back board popped loose.

There were no missing pieces, and the assembly instructions were detailed and clear. The back panels are thin carboard, but that is to be expected at this price point. Overall, a very nice bookshelf for the money.

For the price, the bookshelf is pretty good for a simple bookcase. It’s not fancy, but it was just for my son’s room. The only drawback is the assembly. It wasn’t hard, but there are stickers on the different sections. Unfortunately some of them on placed on the finished sides of the wood and when you try to take them off, it peels off the top layer. I had to use wood correction markers to cover up the big white spots where the material had torn off. If you have something to cover up the issues.

I needed a new shelf for my books and had a small space, this product was perfect, its made to fit in smaller rooms and its easy to assemble, the only issue is that the package where it came was damage, and I was missing one piece, good thing that it was not necessary for it to stand but still.

Pretty easy to assemble. The back is very cheaply made and can rip very very easily. Some of the hole placements were little off but overall really cute shelf.

First I want to start off by saying I buy alot of furniture off of Amazon. Bed frames, dressers, shelves etc. I have never had an issue with any of them and none of them were expensive. So the fact that this is on the cheaper end is no excuse for their terrible quality control. The instructions are okay, could be better but manageable. Fairly sturdy once put together I just wouldn't move it too much. My biggest issue here is I ordered 2 of same models and the back boards are different. Not only are they quite literally thinner than a puzzle, but I received 2 different ones for the same model. One has a wood print, the other is plain black. Super annoying because these are going next to each other so it looks ridiculous. The pre drilled screw holes were on one part of one shelf, and not there on the other shelf. The back boards also don't fit properly on the bottom half of both shelves. This is basic stuff. Im not sure if quality control is blind or just doesn't care, but its really annoying. 100 bucks is 100 bucks and there is no excuse for all these issues. Thankfully I was lucky enough not to have missing parts or large damage like other reviewers. I feel like they know it's just too much effort for people to return these things so they do the bare minimum and still get their money. The positives with the product are that they are sturdier than I thought, I just wouldn't move it too much. Its also worth noting that at least for the 5 tier one, the top is not black, it's exposed particular board but they conveniently don't show that in the pictures, just on the instructions.

I decided to ignore some of the bad reviews with a bit of faith it would be fine and would make a nice bookcase. The bit of card of the back wasn’t very thick but I thought, doesn’t matter. So I start building, following the instructions (which are easy to follow, one plus point!) disaster struck when the side piece of mdf just, crumbled, is the best way to describe it. So I looked on here to request a replacement part, which meant I had to go through to the company website and email them. They redirected me back to Amazon. By this point, I realised that even with the bottoms piece built, it didn’t fit together properly and was wobbly. So I just opted to take what I had built apart and send it back.

It is unusual for me to buy a product without reading the reviews first. On this occasion I did, and bought it purely for the small size (depth) as I needed something narrow in my room. The size is perfect, and I only need it for a light load to organise loose bits and bobs, therefore I have no complaint other than the backing board that is of a poor quality. The backing board is made of cardboard and was tearing before assembly. Nothing a bit of tape could not fix but it was a bit of a disappointment at first. Other than that, this bookshelve does what it is intended to do, therefore I will give it 4 stars.

The shelf is fine. Easy enough to put together, but the back really ruins the look. The back is supposed to be one continuous piece of white cardboard, folded in 3 to fit in the box. However, it ripped at the tip almost immediately upon unfolding. You won't notice once books on are on it... but still.
