I received a defective product, the board had a large fracture around one of the hinges/joints and the other one was loose. The board is essentially useless. I contacted with the seller, after back and forth, asking for photos etc, they agreed to sent me another one, which they haven't yet! Its been more than a week. However, seeing the broken parts and loose hinges, made me feel disappointed at the quality of the product and would like to return, unfortunately wasn't an option.Backgammon peices are plastic, cheaply made, but make a nice noise when you play with them. I rate the not good but tolerable!Chess peices are catastrophically sad! Small for the board, badly designed and are placed in a smelly olastic bag... you should through away immediately if you want to have even a little passion to chess left!

This board is well worth the money. The chess pieces are big - king is 4 inches tall. The set is very well made. While the backgammon pieces are made of plastic they are weighted and therefore do not move during play. This would make a great gift for anyone of any age. I would definitely buy this again.

This piece is beautiful and serves the purpose intended. The checkers do not feel weighted. But understandable for the price. The feee chess pieces are smaller than expected but they certainly do the job. This will make a great addition to our game boards and it serves as a splash of color when it's not in use.

The set itself is beautifully designed, however when I received it the wood was broken on the side while the hinges were broken also. I have a friend who has the same set and he didn't have the same issues and we love playing with hers. Everyine compliments the design when we pull it out..I requested a replacement and hoping for the best since I know its a beautiful set when it isn't damaged. We shall see!

It’s a decent looking board but the hinges are shoddy at best. Right out of the box the wood was cracked and one the hinges was broken off. I just submitted a request through Amazon today and I’m hoping that the seller can make it right and send one that isn’t broken.

Nowhere to put checkers as they come off. Only one set of dice and they are tiny. No cups for the dice. Screen type printed.

The set is beautiful. Packaged well and it arrived on time as expected. It looks lovely overall.
