I am using this as a decorative element to my veggie based wax blend candles in black tins, so when I comment on the color, please keep that in mind. I am not using it to color the wax. In the container, the color is a rich, dark rusty red with lots of sparkle. It is simply beautiful in the container. On the pad I use to protect my workspace, it looks like crushed garnets with dark gold sparkles. When dusted on the tops of my coco dominate wax, it tends to want to stay together and it takes on more of an orange tint than a red. Dusting in this dark color is much more difficult than it is with the metallic gold I also use. The powder is already so fine that a tea strainer does nothing to help, lol. I use one of my large droppers and puff air across the surface to move it where I want it. It is a gorgeous color. I would call it a lively sanguine, lol. That hint of a dark orange gold shimmer gives it life and movement. It is as complex a color as the photo shows. This is a very fine powder so if that is what you need, this is going to make you happy. I can't imagine anyone who likes the deeper colors of red, and orange expertly blended in a metallic like shimmer not being impressed with this mica. Just know that if you are using a very small amount over a larger surface, the orange is going to show up stronger than the red. And it is simply beautiful. It is just like the rocks in Sedona.

The pigment helped make one of my best epoxy wood projects yet. Mixes with epoxy very well. The mica gives a nice settle shimmer that compliments the color. A little mica powder goes a long way, you get a lot for the price of small/medium projects. I highly recommend also buying their black and white mic powder to add depth to your colored epoxy projects. Mix well, add a little at a time and It wont disappoint!

This color is just beautiful. It's a lovely deep bluish green. I would definitely say it's a must have. Eye Candy pigments always been a great quality and last for a while. It's a good deal for the price.

I was after Red & bought "Baku Red" & it seems to look more like a Dark Pink instead of Red but at this point it's not worth trying to return as we used it plus we like pink in my house so it works out for us to keep. Lost a star as Naming it red is Miss leading. 🤔

Works great

I initially bought this color to mix with epoxy for an epoxy floor. The blue is really deep and eye catching. Plus a little goes a long way. A teaspoon colored a whole gallon of epoxy. I had a lot leftover, so I gave it a try in making my sugar scrub and bath bombs. As with any mica powder, you MUST use a emulsifier with this mica when using it for bath bombs. That was expected, so no worries. It did become a little dull in the sugar scrub, though.
