Nature's Own Honey Wheat, Honey Wheat Sandwich Bread, 20 oz Loaf

We’ve been buying Nature’s Own Honey Wheat instead of plain white bread for years. It tastes good, it’s soft, the loaf is fairly large, and it works for everyone in the house. My one-year-old eats it without issue, and my elderly mother prefers it over denser whole grain breads that can feel dry or heavy. Nutrition-wise, it’s not some kind of superfood, but it’s a step up from standard white bread. Compared to basic white sandwich bread, this has a little more fiber and slightly more substance, so it doesn’t feel quite as empty. It still has carbs like any sandwich bread, and it does contain sugar from honey, but it’s not overloaded. The ingredient list is pretty typical for store-bought bread and doesn’t feel excessive compared to similar brands. Each slice is moderate in calories, and the sugar content is in line with other honey wheat options. If someone is looking for very high fiber or low carb, this isn’t that. But if you’re choosing between this and basic white bread, this is the better option in my opinion. It stays moist and soft in the bag and doesn’t crumble apart when making sandwiches. It toasts evenly. I keep it tightly sealed and store it in the refrigerator, and it lasts a long time that way. We usually buy two loaves, keep one in the freezer, and it thaws normally without getting dry. For everyday sandwiches and toast, it’s easy to use and easy to eat.

Delicious bread, I've bought before @ the store.. I like it for anything....PB & jelly, grilled cheese, toast or just eating a piece with mayo with my salad.. The date on the package was fine - somewhere around Sept..6th or so which is good bc I refrigerate my bread & it usually lasts & stays good for a while.. The price is good too.

The bread was fresh and I love the taste. I usually make untoasted sandwiches with this bread. The flavor is so nice I will eat it with just meat and cheese- no condiments.

I buy this bread because it does NOT have all of the nasty preservatives that most bread has. If you don’t go through your bread very fast then keep it in the refrigerator. I would rather have more healthy bread than have bread with preservatives that last forever just sitting out. Nature’s Own is a more Healthy Choice.
