This is frequently on sale at bath & body works and on their website ($5.99 shipping) for only $6.00 per bottle. what is the advantage here?

They are simply taking advantage of shoppers lack of knowledge or inability to go to the store or order direct from the B&BW site...all of which would be considerably cheaper. It's not even on sale in the stores and it's only $13 a bottle. A single bottle on Amazon is $26. Paying ~$60 for 3 bottles of this stuff from Amazon, not even knowing if it's 100% legit, is crazy.

Has the formula changed recently or do I have a bottling mix up? It kinda has a hint of cinnamon or something.

I have an older container that I refill, and it does not look like the formula has changed even though the ingredients are listed in a slightly different order. Not sure why you are detecting a cinnamon smell. Sorry that I do not have a solid answer for you.

Can this be used as a refill for the foaming hand soap dispensers?

Yes, I have diluted this fragrance and used it in an empty Bath and Body Works foaming hand soap dispenser! However, you only need about a tablespoon and then, fill the foaming hand dispenser with water and shake well! Works great for me! :-)
