I always forget to bring a mini speaker to the park or just out to a friend's house. This way, I get the benefit of both. The bottle itself holds about 16oz which is an average bottle amount. I'm still testing how long it will keep my drink cold/hot. Still testing the life of the battery for the speaker once charged. But overall I was impressed by the quality. You need to charge it before using and that didn't take long. It definitely feels well made for the price, considering my Swell alone was $25. To get a decent sounding speaker is great!

I bought thsi for my son in law for his birthday. He loves to spend Sundays in his pool with music and an adult beverage! This is absolutely wonderful AND if you don't feel like having the speaker near you, it unscrews and can sit on the waters edge. Perfect gift for the man who can afford to buy himself anything.

Battery life is really short

My ice was still in my thermal until Monday. I can finally drink and listen to my music at the same time. But, I didn’t know it would take 6 hours for the battery low.

I had never once thought of such a thing, a BlueTooth speaker and a water bottle. It's probably best to speak of each item individually and then as a whole. The water bottle portion is really cool. It has a polished aluminum exterior that's black and looks nice. It may well be the most elegant water bottle at the gym. It has a loop on the end of it that makes it easy to carry around or attach. The screw on the lid has a bit of an awkward way to it, you screw it on and off but b/c it's used for liquid, it has a very tight feel to it. I wouldn't take any chances but even if you don't twist it really tight it's doubtful water will leak out. Now the speaker portion is your standard issue bluetooth speaker. You'll need to charge it when you get it - this particular item came with a very short USB cable (USB B) and it has a little unusual fit to it. You have to be a little careful inserting the male end to it and b/c it's black you can spend a few minutes trying to put it in upside down if you're not careful. After it's charged, you pair it and off you go. The sound is what you'd expect for something like this, functional, not bad, not great. It gets the job done. It fits into the bottle so that it's easy to carry around and not forget, but they are very different item types so you may not have a use case for it at first. One other thing worth mentioning. The thermos portion is very lightweight, surprisingly so. The speaker portion has a base on it so that the bottle stays steady which adds to the weight, but all in all it makes it more functional. It's so light, it'd blow over otherwise. I wasn't crazy about the sound on the speaker at first, but then I started to think about the price and the function and yes, for comparitively priced items the speaker is pretty good. Spending a lot of money on a portable outdoor speaker is probably just a recipe for disappointment so that's not a big deal. And b/c you can detach it and clean the rest, as a set it works just fine. I definitely like it even if they weren't things I thought of going together before.

The sounds quality is just as good as any other Bluetooth speaker and it keeps my water cold for hours

Fully charged, this speaker lasts an hour if that. No where near what its supposed to. Very disappointed.
