I use 'sewing machine oil', as it is inexpensive, very clean, has great oiling properties for tool steel, and it won't stain your clothes. Just hold the gun upside down and put a few drops into the air nozzle port. You dont need much at all.If your gun continues to jam, you likely are operating at too low air pressure. Turn it up just a little bit. If the pressure is too low, the gun may fire, but won't properly cycle to seat the piston behind the next nail. Then if you try to fire it again, it will jam. So dont do that!I've used this nailer several times and have shot about 400 nails so far, and haven't experienced a single jam. I am just familiar with how brad nailers work. I get the impression that the reviews that claim this gun jams too much are authored by people unfamiliar with how to care for a tool like this.I highly recomend this tool.
