Hair Catch Cape Icc-40 Blue (Japan Import)

I cut my family's hair at home. I used to use a traditional hair cape with a shower curtain on the ground, and I would shake the shower curtain into the trash at the end. This catch cape cuts a step out of the process and keep almost all of the mess contained. In the end, it saves me time and extends the life of various home appliances that would otherwise bear the brunt of the hair (the shower drain, the vacuum cleaner). Previously, I had never seen this product in real life or in use anywhere, but was intrigued when I saw it on Amazon; I'm glad I took a chance on this product!

Easy enough to get it to hold shape if you use your brain. Just roll it the opposite way that it comes rolled and hold it for a bit. Collected all of my hair and made clean up faster than ever. Only four stars because the snap broke off, but I have these small clamps that will hold it just fine. In fact, I remember professionals that used similair clamps on traditional hair capes back before we did it at home.

Works perfectly! There's like 5 minutes of getting used to it putting it on, how it sits & taking it off. It's not a stiff material which may help the laying over the shoulders aspect but well worth not having to sweep, vacuum & wash my shoes after each time I cut my husbands hair. Well worth the price for me & did exactly what I needed. :)

Considering how many people I give haircuts to, I was really hoping this Hair Catch Cape would work. Unfortunately, it did not work. Despite many attempts at getting the buttons locked in and getting the cape assembled, I could not get it to stay open. I've built chicken coops, sewn clothing, upgraded computers, baked macarons, and soldered breadboards before...and yet I could not assemble this cape. I spent close to an hour trying to line up those buttons. I laid down the edges on a table and had someone help me hold the curling edge flat. I handed it off to my engineer friend - we had no luck...it was quite humbling.So sad to say, the human "cone of shame" has defeated us. Either we got a bum unit, or it's just poorly designed. Either way, this is definitely a cape not worth the frustration. I wouldn't recommend it.

It works great! Everyone complaining about it not holding it's shape isn't trying hard enough. It comes all rolled up and can be stored that way, but it will of course try to curl back up if you have it like that.You have to take it out and work it into the circle shape if you store it all curled up. The easiest way I found was to almost roll it up backwards and then put it together inside out after you take it out. After a little while like this it holds its shape perfectly fine.The buttons are "off" for holding the circle shape. The buttons are aligned perfectly for holding a good circle shape. They must be this way. If you still have it all curly and messed up then yes, the buttons would SEEM to be misaligned.Just look at the pic. Works just as intended.

Right now, I have the unopened umbrella with some hair on it, in my closet and I don't know where I have to put it. I am scared if I gather the umbrella the way it was originally rapped in the little manufacturer box that I received, it will be again curled back like the first time I opened the box! The umbrella does keep almost all of cut hair inside, which is good, but it does not stay in place around the shoulder, at least not for my young son; maybe it will stand up there steadier for wider adult shoulders. Also, I wished the border around the umbrella would be a little wider. If you don't have a very wide dump to get rid of the hair inside the umbrella, you better not to dream about an easy job; it is very difficult to get rid of the hair inside the umbrella.

This works okay & does the job i guess...but comes smashed into a box when rec'd & need to pull out & let it sit out for a day or two b4 using....very scratchy around the neck with the material used....recommend you use a towel or something around your neck b4 closing the velcro around the cape....storing it is more difficult, since it really don't fold {i leave mine as a ring & store on top of a high cabinet, not always the easiest, but works for me okay anyway}

This is the hair catch cape to buy. I almost bought a different model, from some other manufacter, however, the reviews of the other product were bad. Thank you reviewers on Amazon. This 'Hair catch cape' was more money than the 'cheap' model but this model was the real deal. Good construction, well thought out, easy to use and the manufacter put in details that once I saw them I knew they had actually spent time and brain power in making this 'hair catcher cape'. I can see why this cape cost more and it does stand up on it own just like in the picture. Not so for the cheap brand. I was very pleased with this cape.

全く使い物になりません。くせが強すぎてどんだけ逆に巻いても元に戻らず。1人で円の形状にすることも出来ませんでした。久々にAmazonで使い物にならないものを買ってしまいました。

首の周りに巻くことは不可能です。どれだけ努力しても、手を離した瞬間にバネのように一種で丸まってしまって、写真のように使うことは不可能です。ひどすぎます。お金を返してほしいです！社内で使用可能かテストしてみてください。

出張美容で使ってみましたが幅が狭いので床にかなり落ちました。しかし耐久性はあると思います。

クセがついていて安定して丸くならない
