The Pressure Positive Co. Original Knobble Wooden Massage Tool

This is a very good quality item. Should last forever. The finish on the wood is very smooth and nice. It feels very comfortable in my hand, and is very helpful in do deep tissue massage where I just do not have the physical strength to use my thumbs or fingers to dig in. It is a real hand saver. Using this tool in some places, I need for the small end to be a little softer. To solve this, I have ordered a second Knobble, and will build up the narrow end of it with some silicone caulking. That will afford me the slight give I need when working on certain areas that are a little more delicate or sensitive. I have done this with a home made wooden tool I used to use before getting the Knobble, and it was quite effective. If you have trigger point issues, this is a valuable tool, and well worth getting.

Massage quality: Thumb and wrist saver. Wife has upper back and shoulder pain every day. Seen this item before at physical therapy. Now I just feel around for knots with my fingers. And gently start working out the knots out with the knob. Works so well I only have to message twice a week instead of every day.

Excellent massage tool, especially for deep tissue massages and for trigger point therapy for deep knots in muscles. Ergonomic, so hand doesn’t get tired when using it. One of the best massage tools out there! Bought this as a gift for a family member that was having sciatic pain.

Although I hate kneading trigger points, which can feel like bruises when pressure is applied to them, I love how effective this Knobble device is at providing subsequent relief in my lower back and sustained mobility in my legs! I use it mainly at night when lying in bed or when sitting on the couch watching television, and I like the conveniently small size and the portability the Knobble, which affords me the opportunity to carry one in my purse to access and use after sitting somewhere for an extended period of time (i.e., during road trip or layover at airport terminal)... One of the symptoms of the stenosis in my spine are multiple trigger points that occur in my hips and legs, which in turn cause a great deal of lower back pain... On days when the number of trigger points exceeds that which I have the tolerance to knead out and end up compromising my mobility, I have to use Flexeril to relax my muscles; however, I very seldom have to resort to the medication option as I use the Knobble on almost a daily basis to knead out trigger points to keep them from getting out of hand... I don't know why they had a rating for suction power. I bought one of these several years ago. Giving my husband a back massage was rough on my hands. I also take it on vacation. I decided to buy a second one so I could leave one in my suitcase and have one for home. It save wear and tear on my hands. It gets the job done to loosen tight muscles.

So, this is a wonderfully useful device. I LOVE it for chair massage. I also love leaning onto it to get at my own back and shoulder trigger points. I would have given it 5 points, but I have one small complaint. I have 2 of these. The first is perfect. The second, ordered a few years after, is almost perfect. The tip, however, is too rough to glide easily over the delicate fabrics that I encounter while doing chair massage. The tip on the first Knobble is very smooth. The tip on the second one isn't.

I hesitated to buy it because of the price but I'm glad I did finally. I really like the make and feel of this wooden knobble. It is made of very good quality of wood and have a nice finish, thus very smooth. I love the feeling of holding it and pressing the pointy part to all parts of my body (feets, hands, head, neck, legs, and arms). I used it every day and night and even the time while I'm driving. I also use the flat part to massage my adominal area (while I am laying on bed) in a clockwise motion which I believe would help the movement of the intestines. Since I love to carry it to wherever I go, I will buy one more.

My husband drives a lot every day so his shoulders and lower back get really sore. He actually has some adhesions that are difficult to massage without this useful massage tool. I use this mostly on his upper back to relieve pain and stiffness. Often I will start a massage and my husband will recommend that I use the knobble massager because it can get deeper and relieves tension. You have to be careful with the pressure you are using. This can cause some pain if you don't use it gently enough. It fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and is easy to use. I don't like using it without any oil because then it seems to stick to the skin. I'd recommend using this along with a Therapy Massage Bar by LUSH . best massage tool ever. works excellent for trigger point massage. fits in the hand perfectly, as the size of the tool is just right. don't even look for any other tool. this is wood and not plastic or rubber. this is the original and in my opinion, the best.

Really happy! Way better than trigger balls for self use in my opinion, because it's more precise and harder, which I prefer and more ergonomic to hold. For hard to reach places, such as my back, I place it against the couch and I dig into it. Against the floor on a yoga mat or on the bed also work s. I use this in complement with the Theracane. As a therapist, I am looking forward to using this for trigger point therapy to save my thumbs. Even got one for my sister for her birthday, she's got so many knots!

Um meinen Daumen auf der Arbeit zu entlasten, habe ich mir diesen "Knauf" besorgt. Meine Patienten u ich sind recht begeistert davon. Der Druck ist intensive,r aber nicht unangenehm. Meine Kollegin hat ihn sich auch immer ausgeborgt u letztendlich habe ich ihn ihr zu Weihnachten geschenkt. Nun brauch ich dringend einen Neuen. Kaufempfehlung

Quality material, nicely machined and works well. Yes, it's a bit pricey (considering that it's only piece of wood - LOL) but there's nothing else like it. Don't waste your time with plastic knock-offs.
