Overheats, not very effective..
It's a great idea and based on the original Samsung charger. The problem is that it over heats and causes the phone and watch to go into heat protection mode. So it does not charge appropriately and the devi es get super hot.Not always a good idea to save a few bucks.

Great Value Substitution Duo Charger
This duo charger is a value substitute for the OEM Samsung.It doesn't cost anywhere near as much as the OEM, and the materials aren't as durable or nice, but it's a duo charger.The fast charging DOES work, and it also properly charges my Galaxy Watch.I have dropped a couple stars because during my 2nd day of use in the office, the fast-charge phone pad on the left doesnt seem to charge any more. I'm getting a fast flashing red light when I try to charge my Note 8. (I remove my case to fast charge). The phone charges fine on the watch side, so it's not my phone.

Not good
I was so excited to have one place to charge my phone and watch. Charging a Galaxy S10e and Samsung Gear S3. Started out charging my phone standing up (portrait) and worked for a while but eventually it would only charge if i layed it down sideways (landscape). The watch area worked every time as long as you got it placed juuuusssttt riiiiggghhhtt. Even the slightest move off of center would make it stop charging or not start at all. I would not buy this if I was you.

This is a perfect item if you use multiple devices. It is also great when traveling with another person, only one charger needs to be packed.

Won't charge phone in my case, wasted money.

Case issue
Its a nice charger. I like having 1 charger for both my samsung watch and phone. The only down side is i can not charge my phone with it in the case. I have tried my phone in its case on other charges and it works. This inductive charger needs that direct contact so other then that not to shaby.
