A lifesaver !
This was a lifesaver! It was literally the only way to recover my list of SIM contacts from my broken phone. Bestbuy folks couldn’t do it, but this worked. Delivered a day earlier than expected! The software was easy to use and did what I needed.

Waste of Money.
Poorly packaged. CD was broken. Poor instructions. This was my second attempt at receiving/using this product. The first time, the reader was missing. Finally, the product never worked.

Successfully read the large SIM card from my old phone, but could not connect to the small SIM card for my new phone.

Thought this would be a plug and play sort of thing but you have to have a computer with a CD drive to be able to install the software that comes with it

NOT CAPABLE OF WRITING ICCID
This device, while cheap and flimsy, is functional. It comes with everything you should need to read, modify, and backup contacts, SMS messages, and the like from a SIM card. It also appears to be a functional multi-card reader.It is NOT for editing, backing up, or cloning your entire SIM. Again, it CANNOT WRITE ICCIDs or other high-level information, though it can READ them, if you have one that you're unsure about. The included software, though a bit finicky, does work, and other SIM software will recognize the card reader if you: 1) Boot your own software 2) Boot the included software 3) Read the card with the included software to initialize the card reader 4) Exit out of the included software 5) Read the card with your own software.Again, this card reader lacks the instructions necessary to effect any writes on SIM ICCIDs or the like, even blank ones. ONLY purchase it for backup of old-fashioned flip-phone era contacts and SMS storage, or as a general multi-card reader.

Worked fine
My husband ordered this to try to get information off his phone SIM card after the phone went swimming in our pool. Unfortunately he could not recover anything off the card, but I am sure the SIM reader will be useful in the future

What good is a product that does not work properly?
With the sim card in the adapter it will not go into the slot on the reader. Product seems well made but with no instructions included and the slot markings so small you need a microscope to read them it is very hard to use!!!!!!!
