I ordered one bag to compare it to YS Eco Bee Farms fresh pollen that requires refrigeration. New orders of Eco Bee since the summer appear to me to be dried instead of fresh. The color is darker and they have a chemical taste. I like to snack on it with my morning coffee. The good batches are light colored and so delicious. Apparently pollen changes as the seasons change and bees collect varying pollen. I have been ordering Eco Bee for years and never had this issue before. Been lucky with order timing perhaps. Any way you can see why I tried a different brand. The Hummingbee is just not tasty to me. It is much darker than the photo on desertcart. Maybe most people don't eat bee pollen straight like a candy like I do. Both brands certainly are fine for a variety of other uses like toppings where their flavor is not so noticable or in cooking where their flavor will blend or be hidden. Hope YS Eco Bee Farms gets some delicious batches in again. Maybe fresh spring blossoms are what produce the tasty treat. Review: Wonderful - I've tried a domestic brand (& with better packaging), but this one tastes just a little better - nough that I'm switching back to this next order. If you've never tried bee pollen, it tastes similar to honey but isn't a sweetener. My breakfast drink wouldn't be the same without it. I mix this in soy milk with Ovaltine (& a couple other less tasty things - ginseng etc) in a shaker bottle. Shake it, let it sit for a couple minutes then shake again. Decent technique if you don't want to mess with a blender. ## Features - Pure Bliss, Naturally: Experience the purity of nature with our Bee Pollen, crafted by bees with 100% natural ingredients. When bees bring back both products to the hive and go through the pollen collector, propolis also ends up in the pollen drawer and mixes with pollen. **Q: What is propolis? And should I worry if it is mixed with Bee Pollen?** A: Propolis is resin bees collect from tree trunks and is used by bees as a natural glue inside the beehive. Propolis is full of bio-compounds, so it is excellent for immune support. So you can consume it without any worries. **Q: Why does the bag look like it was vacuum-packed?** A: We pack our Bee Pollen in the mountains of Colombia, around 8000ft above sea level. As the bag is sealed, the higher barometric pressure compresses the air inside the bag when it arrives in the US at a much lower altitude. **Q: Why are the granules of different colors?** A: Our Bee Pollen is produced in areas of preserved forests. That is, we keep it away from commercial crops. In these tropical forests, there is a wide variety of plants from which the bees collect pollen, so they turn out in different colors. **Q: What is the shelf life of the product?** A: Because we carefully dry our Bee Pollen, and the bag is resealable, as long as you keep it sealed and away from direct sunlight and extreme heat, it will keep for over a year. But it is so tasty that you will finish it quickly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flat tasting with a honey aftertaste *by U***R on November 6, 2022* This is a top quality bee pollen at a competative price. I was expecting to sweet my tea or coffee but you still need to add some sugar to your drink to be tasty. I know the bee pollen is good for the immune system. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/95717261-buzzing-with-vitality-bee-pollen-granules-your-natural-superfood-powerhouse](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/95717261-buzzing-with-vitality-bee-pollen-granules-your-natural-superfood-powerhouse) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
