Worked great for three months then hangers snapped off the back
I loved this caddy for shampoo in my new tub. It only lasted about three months though before the plastic hangers broke off the back. I only had two small bottles of aveeno shampoo and cond and one bottle of body wash not a ton of weight. Not sure why it broke but you cannot replace the hangers just the adhesive apparently so i am disappointed. In my other bathroom I have just one of the 3m single hooks holding a standard metal caddy and it holds double the weight as this caddy and has been up over two years with no problems. The hangers on this small caddy are tiny plastic and not strong at all.

One of the Best Shower Caddies!
I needed more space in my shower but I didn't like the ones that hang in front. Chrome types usually leave nasty rust marks so I decided to go with this one after the great reviews. I haven't needed to change the strips yet.

Great product BUT dirrction need more
The product is great. BUT the directions NEED to go further. The alcohol wipe is not enough to properly clean some surfaces. I recommend using a wash cloth saturated with alchole. Scrub very well. Towel dry--then air dry at least an hour usually more Follow directions from there. Be sure to remove the basket AFTER the whole thing is mounted. Wait the suggested amount of time. Then reapply the basket. Wait again, then add bottles. Just remember 1) Super clean ....even more thsn stated 2) ALLOW MORE DRY TIME3) ALOW More adjusyment time before adding any weight at allUpdate 3 months later this is still holding up well. I have 2 full size bottles (16 oz. Each) and a small bottle in it at all times.Plus a brush on a stick hanging off the optional hook that comes with it. Other command products are also still up. It seems the extra cleaning with more alchole and more drying time , as well as waiting to add weight are the keys to full success. Once I stared doing all three steps NONE of my command products have come down. Just keep weight within the stated on package limits.

Just Couldn't Hang In There
As a HUGE fan, and big advocate of 3M Command strips, I disregarded all the negative reviews. Like the other commenters, I followed the directions to the letter. This item is strong enough only to hold itself on the wall. Once shower items are placed inside, it instantly fell down. It may have something to do with my matte ceramic tile. Might work better on a smoother surface. (Pictures included)As for the basket itself, it is a heavy grade plastic. It would have held up just fine. The basket is held by four strips, each rated for 3lbs, giving you a theoretical 12lb capacity. I however placed one shampoo bottle in the basket and caught it as it fell down.I would however recommend the 3M Command Hooks (Of all sizes, shapes, and finishes), the 3M Bathroom Command strips and hooks, the 3M Medium Command picture hanging strips, and the 3M Command Paper Towel Holder (although I could not find this item on Amazon)I'm giving the product 3 stars because it is a quality basket that had a lot of potential. The little razor holder was a nice touch! I, however, could not get it to work for my shower and I ended up going with a 3 tiered tension pole. (Zenith Bathtub and Shower Pole Caddy, White)

Awesome Product! Thank you 3M!!!
I love this thing. My tube rim was getting full after my roommates girl friend moved in, this thing is huge. The photos I have seen makes this look smaller. I was so happy when I unboxed my order to see this was bigger than I original thought! My only qualm with it is I wish It came with 2 extra razor hooks for loofahs. This is also holding a family size bottle of shower wash. As you can see I have a couple travel size toothpaste tubes as well as a regular size bottle of shower wash. Upside down bottle is that way because I was nearing the end of the bottle. The bottle does fit in the regular way. Also I brush my teeth in the shower as a water and time saver and I love how my Colgate 360 fits nicely!

... half bathroom so shower storage space is minimal at best. I bought one of these shower caddies for ...
We share an apartment (four roommates total) with one full bath and a half bathroom so shower storage space is minimal at best. I bought one of these shower caddies for myself and for my boyfriend. It has been 6 months and they haven't budged! Our other two roommates use a metal shower caddy that hangs off the shower head. I don't like the look of metal and it tends to rust so when I saw these I figured I would give them a shot. I also hate having a ton of stuff sitting on the edge of the tub and wanted a caddy to attach to the wall. I am still thrilled with them every time I step in the shower. They stay fairly clean and are easy to remove to wash. I placed them at the far end of the tub so they don't get direct water spray. That may help with them staying up, but our bathroom stays damp for most of the time as we don't have a fan and the door always stays closed in case the roommate's cat decides to use the tub as a litter box. I have large (econo-family sized) shampoo and conditioner bottles as well as facial cleanser, body wash, and bar soap in them. The only caveat is the attachment for your razor/shower sponge falls off at the slightest touch. I keep moving mine around the caddy, looking for a better placement, as my roommates can't seem to not knock my razor off every time they are in the bathroom.
