I've bought several brother compatible toner cartridge packs from AZ supplies and while the ink didn't seem to last as long as a "real" cartridge - they worked OK, and were much cheaper so I was happy.Something changed recently with my May 2016 order. Went to replace black toner, but found that the first AZ supply black toner immediately read as empty. I tried the next one and while it did read as full - the print faded after 1/2 a page of every printout. I also noticed that my these new cartridges were recycled brother items, vice the generic cartridges I used to get that seemed to work better.I was worried that something was wrong with the printer or the "caddy" that the cartridges fit into, but I shelled out $40 for a geniune brother toner cartridge just to see - and suprise ! everything worked perfect again .I got two bad toner cartridges (so far) in my box of five. Each of the failed black toner cartridges cost ~20 - so I ended up wasting $40, plus the frustration of being down for a day, plus the time I spent fussing with the printer. I'm only buying genuine brother from now on.

Replaced all the color toners at the same time and found that they all worked fine except the magenta which was leaving all the color print pages pink anywhere the pages were still white. Was unable to determine why so I had to purchase an OEM Brother cartridge locally to replace this new one and it worked fine. Unfortunately the return time line had past so I have a new useless magenta toner cartridge. Giving them a 3 rating only because the other 3 work fine.

Our brother printer was working great and we were using it to print color brochures for our business. When the toners ran low we ordered these replacements. The colored cartridges worked fine. The black cartridge did not work out of the package. The printers performance dropped off. We replaced the black cartridge with another one (trashed the brand new one from AZ Supplies) and it started printing again but We now have toner scatter all over the black pages. the manual recommends replacing the drum. I contacted Amazon and AZ supplied. Neither of them responded.Long story short, I remain convinced that the laser toner was defective and damaged our printer. Becuase we used all the color cartridges, we were not able to return anything. Attached you can see a picture of the printers "new performance". If I replace the drum it will cost more than $100.I will be purchasing from Brother from here forward.

They all work great.The black worked for just a few copies and then went blank (but actually that was just the last of the previous cartridge.) I emailed the company and they immediately replied and told me to turn off the printer first, and then insert the new cartridge. I did that and it worked great. So I guess that's a trick I didn't know about that I'll share...turn your printer off before installing new cartridge.

Not too happy with the color brightness. Dull color.

black toner cartridge does not work...did not need it immediately so warranty was out when I tried to use it. stay with OEM cartridges....no savings if you cannot use the cartridge at all...have not tried the color ones yet

Been using these for about a month - they seem to work just fine for me and saved me a lot of money. I don't have a way to compare them to the original ones but I'm happy!!

Excellent price and quality for this toner package! I love that it comes with an extra black cartridge for just a little more.
