Paisley & Elephant Print Tapestry-Coverlet-Bedspread

This came as a stunningly, amazingly bright turquoise, but since I was going to use it on my wood picnic table outside, and it is rainy season, I decided to wash it first, since my fingers were blue just from touching it. After washing it, it was not the bright exciting color anymore, it's just kind of a blah blue. And still pretty stiff - hard to tie knots in the corners to hold it onto the table. It didn't cost too much, though, so it serves the purpose.

This bed spread was everything I had hoped for. I would call the material Gauze. It's cotton and loosely woven but very durable. I needed a super light spread to put atop my sheets without too much warmth. When I saw that it was made in India it reminded me of a similar one I had when I was a girl and I used it for many years both as a spread and later as a young woman I used it as a table cloth. The colors are spot on as the photos show. Right out of the box you'll need to wash the strong smell of dye out and then in a couple more washings it becomes much softer. I will eventually get another one in a different design.

The colors in this tapestry are much more vibrant than those in the pictures, which I was very happy about! It's a much richer, darker turquoise. I absolutely love this tapestry. I use mine as a curtain and it easily stretches across my very wide front window. I love the elephant detail on it! There was some chemically smell on it when I first opened it, but I just sprayed it with some febreze and the smell was gone shortly after. I think that this was well worth the price and a lovely addition to my home. :)

Nice color and pattern, I use the Indian coverlets for the summer. They are a perfect light-weight and colorful cover for the summer months.

Very nice, wash in cold water! Size a bit strange for double bed.......colors little different than ad but nicer....

Not sure if the dimensions are accurate; doesn't really cover my queen like my old 90 inch x 90 inch. But it is close and very nice, like and did not shrink upon washing.

This is just like the Indian print bedspreads everyone had in college back in the 70's which is exactly what I wanted.

The colors are very bright and true to the image, however the item was stained. I washed it twice to get it out and everything looks great, but unfortunate that whoever shipped this did not see the very large stain
