Review: This + daily allergy pill = not having to use my rescue inhaler - I'm one of those people that doctors constantly scold about over-using my Albuterol rescue inhaler. I do this because the maintenance asthma inhalers are ridiculously expensive, even on my insurance. I took it for a week and felt a little difference, but still had to use my inhaler twice a day (down from about 6 uses), first thing in the morning, and right before I went to bed. Otherwise, I was wheezing through the night. I decided to try to add back in a daily allergy pill (in this case, the CVS version of Zyrtec), which hasn't been effective as an asthma deterrent in the past. After a week, I wasn't using the inhaler on a daily basis, or even at all. I have three cats, and I'm allergic to cats; I live in central Texas and between the "cedar" and other beautiful but pollen-rich greenery around here, every season is allergy season. But I'm able to do strenuous housework, go for a brisk walk, and even clean out the pigeon loft with the dusty straw and not require a puff to finish the task! It's amazing! Two weeks ago, I went out of town for one night and forgot to take the pills with me. By the time I got home, it seemed too late in the day to take the pills, so I decided to wait and take them again the next morning. The following two days were BRUTAL. I sneezed, my chest seized up; it was actually WORSE than it had been before, or maybe that's what I had gotten used to? It took three days for the supplement and allergy medicine to build back up in my system, but now that I'm back on track, I'm NEVER going to miss another day again! It's truly incredible.!

**Q: how many capsules a day ?**
A: The label says 1-2 capsules one to two times per day. I have used more than that if I’m having an issue. (That is my personal usage. You take how it is best for you.)

**Q: Soo.. exactly what is in this pill????**
A: Not a single person actually answered the question. Saying it contains herbs doesn't really tell this person anything. Anyway, there is a screenshot of the ingredients but I'll list them anyway: 500mg per capsule. Dong Quai root, Ophiopogon root, Poria fungal body, Chinese Asparagus root, Chinese Skullcap root, Gardenia fruit, Luo Han Guo fruit, Platycodon root, Tangerine mature peel, White Mulberry root bark, Zhejian Fritillary bulb, Schisandra frut, and Chinese Licorice root.

**Q: One of the reviews mentioned ephedra. does this product contain ephedra under another name? i thought ephedra was banned in the us.**
A: Ephedra has been banned since 2004. Other plants/substances with the same side effects are ma huang, sida cordifolia, pinellia, norephedrine, & ephedraine. There are absolutely plenty of reason to be careful with ephedrine or anything similar. If you have anxiety it's a bad idea to take it. Same if taking antidepressant. High blood pressure or high blood pressure meds are not a good mix with ephedra like substance either. Now, that I just sounded like a commercial, nothing in the ingredients seemed too match any of ephedra's qualities, but you should call the company.

**Q: It says this product can expose you to lead. What's up with that?!**
A: Is that the California proposition 65 thing? I read once that lead is everywhere and in soils etc. Thanks to decades of leaded gas..
