I ordered these in my usual size, but the fit ran large for me, so I decided to return them. The material and style matched the listing photos and felt well-made when trying them on. Pros: • Style looked exactly like the product photos • Material quality was solid • Lightweight and comfortable padding Cons: • Fit did not match my usual sizing • Shape runs narrow depending on your foot type Overall: Although I ended up returning them because of the fit, the quality seemed good. I really like these shoes. They are light weight and comfortable. I love wearing these.

Perfect fit

I purchased these shoes to replace another pair that I have had for many years. I like these shoes very much. They are comfortable but do not provide much support if that is something you are concerned about. They are great for casual occasions. The ones I had before were cream and I decided I would like the white ones this time. One concern I have is that they will get dirty easily as my cream colored ones did, but I have found that scrubbing with oxiclean is a great way to take out stains and dirt. I have also used a magic eraser to clean the plastic parts of the shoes and it makes them look like new again almost. I have had my old pair for about five years, wearing them once or twice a week and they are still in pretty good condition. The problem that caused me to get a new pair is that I have had them so long, they have begun to smell not so great. Typically I wear a size 9 shoe but in these I wear a women’s size 8.5. I knew exactly what size to get from my other pair and the sizing has not changed luckily. On the amazon page, it is also nice that it states to get a half size smaller than your normal shoe size which is exactly accurate for me. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I imagine I will have these shoes for a long time and get much use out of them. I would recommend them to anyone for casual wear.

I love Chucks. They're my favorite everyday knockabout shoe for jeans or shorts. That said, they have some peculiarities. They tend to run about a half-size big in length. At the same time, they're kind of narrow for me. So rather than going DOWN a half-size (as most people recommend) I tend to go UP a half size, to accommodate my hobbit-like feet. I end up with about an inch of headroom at the toe, but the shoe doesn't slide around or anything. In fact, the sidewall of the sole still ends up separating from the canvas at the ball of my foot, long before the shoes are worn out. Oh well. I've grown accustomed to it. The trade-off is, (at least for me) it's almost like going barefoot. I wouldn't want to run a mile in them, but they're plenty comfy to wear all day. I tend to look for sales because $50 is a bit high for what I basically treat as a disposable shoe. But at $40 or below, they're worth every penny. Oh, and if you want arch support, throw in an insert. I moved the inserts from a fancy-pants pairs of Chucks over to a pair of slip-ons, and I have to admit, it's pretty nice. The shoes are beautiful and arrived in very good condition, but since the listing said they were women’s shoes, I ordered a size 7.5. However, I received a men’s size 7.5, so they turned out to be way too big, and I had to sell them.
