FixNZip to the rescue!
FixNZip to the rescue! Nothing irritates me more than a broken zipper that renders an item useless and targeted for the waste basket, or destined for winds of gaffer tape and or shock cord to close. Hence, my favorite 2 decades old sports top with a half zipper - my favorite go-to garment, or more recently, a just out of warranty expensive two suiter / dress folding luggage rendered unusable due to a broken zipper. Take it to a luggage repair shop - guess how they make their living, or the local tailor, and yes, repair is possible but too costly to justify. I tried multiple zipper repair gadgets; too flimsy, cheaply made, couldn't keep zippers closed, broke zipper teeth ... I'll stop here. Came across FiizNZip. Costs a bit more than many of the "gadgets" out there, but it is easy to install, no sewing or clamping or gluing necessary. It also works smoothly and comes in variable sizes to suit you repair needs. My two-suiter luggage has survived multiple airport encounters with baggage handlers and still works great. And my legacy sport top keeps on zippin'. Quality item, built sturdy, in sizes suitable for almost any zippered application, with good instructions. You should keep two handy for the inevitable.

High quality and easy to install
This is a very well made, high quality item that fixed the zipper on my son's golf bag and it did the job well. While I did measure the zipper teeth as described (there was no number on the back of the zipper), I likely made an error and had to reach out for support. The response was prompt and increasing the size from a small to medium did the job. I was able to install the new zipper in less than 30 seconds. This is an excellent product and I would not hesitate to purchase one again if the need arises. Thank you FixNZip.

It works with my O'neill Wetsuit, but you have to pull the zipper very slowly or it gets screwed up
I've surfed a few times now with this replacement zipper and it's working great! The old zipper had been having issues, and it eventually pulled right off when it was stuck and I was trying to unzip it. The FixnZip arrived quickly, and it took a little fiddling with to figure out how properly attach it, but I had it working in about 10 minutes. The action felt a little stiff and it worried me, so I ordered "Gear Aid Zipper Wax Lubricant Stick for Wetsuits and Drysuits" and rubbed that on the zipper teeth, and that seemed to make the zipper a bit smoother. So now the zipper works better than it had in awhile with the old zipper. Oh, and a tip to move the zipper pull cord to your new zipper. Cut the old plastic zipper pull to remove the pull cord/string and put it on the new zipper (see instructions that show how to open it). UPDATE 1: Turned out I only got a few sessions with the FixnZip until I had problems. I wore my wetsuit surfing yesterday and didn't realize until I was paddling out that the zipper was entirely open, even though I had no issues zipping it closed. So before I went surfing today, I re-attached the FixnZip, made sure it moved up and down smoothly when I wasn't wearing it (I added more zipper lubricant, and also found I had to loosen the screw a little bit, or it got stuck), but then when I put on the suit to surf and pulled up be the zipper, it was entirely open again after pulling it up. The wetsuit isn't very tight or anything, so I don't know what to think at this point. I don't know why it worked a few times and then stopped working. UPDATE 2: My rating has gone from 5 stars, to 3 to 4. I decided to try the FixnZip on my wetsuit again, but now I'm super careful when I zip up my suit, which is a little difficult with a back zipper, but I basically just go as slowly as I can. So I've had 3 successful surfs now that I'm very careful while zipping up my suit. I also sent FixnZip an email asking if they had suggestions related to my issue and it's been a week and they haven't responded.

Good for a tent repair.
Out zipper broke on one of our tent doors. This worked as a replacement to get the door zipped. I am pleased, as I had no idea that there was a solution for this issue. It was easy to install and works well. If you have a broken tent this is worth the price.

Effortless Zipper Fix!!
What a surprise! This thing worked great on my broken Wilson leather pants zipper (size 5 zipper). Quick install and even zipped right over the missing teeth! I do with the thumb screw was a little more shallow just so It didn't press up against the fabric but overall I am happy it was so painless and instantly mended my problem without having to consult a seamstress. Probably I can replace the thumbscrew with an actual screw to get the profile down. I am surprised people have had so many issues, this product really works!

I wasn't sure what I was doing
I watched the instructional videos on the website a couple of times. I thought I was ready. But it was too hard. The next day I contacted the owner and he was SUPER HELPFUL. He told me exactly what to do. That afternoon he called me back to see if I had any additional problems. I told him that I was able to put the zipper on but when I pulled, the part behind the zipper didn't stay closed. He told me exactly what I was doing wrong and how to fix it. He stayed on the phone just in case I couldn't do it. I got tired and told him that I was going to continue the next day. I figured out what was going on. First, my fingers are short and fat so I could not fit them in the precise location. Second, I realize that I didn't have the strength to press the part hard enough and that was why the zipper was opening after I went through the section. I watched the video one more time and I decided: ** to use a pair of players to press and pull. It with was awesome. First try, and the problem was solved. I have a queen size air bed by the numbers. I had the bright idea to take the mattress apart so I could wash it. It was easy. Open the zipper that goes around the mattress 360○ and throw it in the washer. After it was washed and dried, putting it back on was an adventure. Finally, I put it back on and when I tried to zip it, the zipper broke. The cost to replace the zipper that big was out of this earth. I got worried and started looking at zippers. I figured that if absolutely necessary, I would just saw the new zipper by hand, knowing full well that if I did that myself, it would not last. Anyway, j was determined to replace the zipper. When I was looking at zippers, I ran into this little gadget for about $6+ dollars. I looked at the reviews on several websites. Finally, when i felt burnt out from the research, I decided to order it. The owner called me 2 days later to follow up with me. Wow!! This owner really cares. I told him that the center part was too small for my big fat fingers to fit and that it required more strength than I had (keep in mind that I'm a woman and past my 60s). I told him what I did to get it done and he mentioned that he was going to review the design of this item so it was easier to use. I have to say that I've never met a business owner who took interest about a customer's experience for an item that cost $6+ dollars. And he kept doing follow ups, to make sure I installed correctly, and that I was happy with his product. The product gets 99 stars (out of 5) The company's customer service gets 1000 stars. An amazing experience, indeed. Thank you Mr. Owner for all your help. Now we know that even a senior citizen/grandma can put this zipper on a huge mattress. If I can do it, anyone can do it too!!!

Easy on…easy whoops
Went on very easy. Fell off very easy. Put back on..,we’ll see. Low confidence. If it stays, it’ll be the easiest fix.

Great company, great product
I have used FixNZip on several things, and it works great. It saved an old, beloved REI backpack that I almost threw away because one of the zippers broke. I replaced with a FixNZip, and it worked like new. Their service is also the best--I had an issue with a zipper, and emailed the company. Jonathan Cotton, who has some high position in the company, was SO helpful, as he replied immediately to all my emails to advise me on my issue. In sum, great company, great product, great people.

Worked great on a heavy duty duffel bag
I've got a big vinyl duffel bag used for diving and caving gear. Salt water had made the sliders corrode and get stuck. Was sceptical that this replacement would be able to zip the teeth all the way to the start of the zip - but it does and works great. Hardest part was cutting off the old slider. This was a tiny bit fiddly to install - but once on, works perfectly. Saved having to spend the thick end of 100 quid to replace the bag. Only improvements I'd suggest - make a heavy duty version that has a bit more meat where the pull toggle attaches and in doing so supply a stronger split ring. Very pleased.

realmente efectivo

Klasse! 5 von 5 Sternen, 100% Empfehlung!
