Ideal riser for mainly static furniture

Bought for my elderly Father who refused to get a new armchair, as his current one is too low and he struggled to get in and out of it. This was the perfect compromise as it raised the chair the right amount and he kept his favourite chair - a lot cheaper than a new chair!!

..But don't try sliding a heavy settee after propping it up on these feet, as everything comes crashing down. So make sure that everything (feet, settee, bed, etc) is in the absolutely correct position before lifting and then lowering the item onto these 'raisers'. They don't leave any noticeable dent in the carpet, they support plenty of weight (1760 lbs = 800 kgs), but note the instructions: "If the furniture is moved, ensure that each leg is centred on the risers and test for stability". Really good value for money, and they look fairly discreet, too.
