Smart Selects Parrot & Conure Food, Seed Blend, M/L, USA, 4 lb

I purchased this bird food because my African Grey is extremely picky about what she will eat. She will eat pellet food, but it’s definitely not her favorite, and I’ve had a hard time finding a food that gets her to eat more of what is actually in her bowl. This mix has been a big improvement. It has a combination of pellets, seeds, fruit, and vegetables, and she seems much more interested in it than the other foods I’ve tried. She will usually pick out and eat the seeds, fruit, and vegetables first, which isn’t surprising because those are obviously her favorites. She does eventually go back and eat the pellets too, which is something I really like. I’ve tried quite a few different foods for her, and so far this is one of the better mixes I’ve found. Having the different textures and flavors together seems to keep her interested in her food instead of just picking at the pellets and leaving the rest. I also like that this food does not change the color of her water bowl when she dipped the food pellets into it. There’s no heavy dyes in the pellets. I have used other brands where the water bowl looks completely nasty within a couple hours. This one it stays clean and healthy for her. I’ve actually put this on Subscribe & Save because I don’t want to run out of it. I currently have two 4-pound bags coming on a regular basis, which should keep me stocked up. Obviously, every bird is different and a picky African Grey can be pretty difficult to please, but mine really seems to like this food. So far, this is one of the best mixes I’ve found for her, and I’ll definitely continue buying it.

I recently purchased the ZuPreem Smart Selects Daily Bird Food for my medium-large parrot, and I have been extremely impressed with the quality and nutritional benefits it provides. The blend is perfectly suited for a variety of bird species, including Conures, Caiques, African Greys, Eclectus, and Small Cockatoos, making it versatile for multi-bird households. The food contains a great mix of pellets and seeds, ensuring that my bird enjoys a balanced diet. The pellets are high-quality and nutritionally complete, which is essential for my bird's health. I particularly appreciate that this food helps support a bird's overall well-being with essential vitamins and minerals. The added seeds provide a nice touch of variety that my parrot enjoys foraging through. One of the things I love about this food is that it’s free from artificial colors or flavors, making it a natural choice for my bird. It is also a convenient option, with a resealable bag that helps maintain freshness. My bird seems to really enjoy it, and I've noticed more consistent energy levels and brighter plumage since switching to this food. The only downside I can think of is that it may be slightly more expensive compared to some other bird foods on the market, but given the quality and the fact that it's nutritionally balanced, it’s well worth the investment. I highly recommend ZuPreem Smart Selects Daily Bird Food for anyone with a medium or large bird. It’s a great choice for providing your feathered friend with a healthy, delicious diet.

My conure is eating better and not throwing the food out of their bowl now. So many shapes and sizes is additional stimulation. Supreme is great quality food.

I love that it's cheaper than the fruit blend and it has things in it that he usually loves, but he's not a huge fan. He picks the pellets and some seeds out and leaves the rest. So I've been doing half and half. Half this and half fruit blend in hopes to cut costs a little bit and give him some variety.

Excellent product for parrots! Well balanced and good quality. Definitely worth it!! Take care of your parrots with Zupreen. Amazon has a good price. It’s worth it!

My African Grey is a good sport when it comes to food. He has weathered through my attempts to find the " Perfect" parrot food. There are strange bits ( they may not be strange to me if I was a Parrot.) Soo, I picked them out. Hates the dried fruit bits but then that is him. The best element in my opinion is that are no Sunflower seeds which Alex would rob a bank for under normal circumstances. Has whole strip peppers which is great but the pieces seem a little large. Big deal. Break them up. So in your quest for bird food this is a good alternative to the sunflower saturated concoctions on the market. You know your bird. Ask him. and in his own way, he will answer you!!!

All greys are different I suppose, and can be quite picky re: food...but my feathered monster loves (!) this stuff. For 20 years I've fed him the Tropican pellets which he obviously ate...but he never spent more than a few minutes each day at his food dish. On a whim I tried this Zupreem and he now sits at the dish for 30-60 minutes at a time nibbling on this food...as in he STAYS at the dish eating and if it's empty he bangs the dish up and down until I refill it. He has been at it again for the last 50 minutes after I just refilled it (see photo). I've now used the food for about 6-8 weeks and no change...he just loves it. Your grey may not necessarily like it, but def. worth a try because wow I've never seen him eat like this and be so contented at his dish. He rates this food FIVE BEAKS!

Our parrot really liked this product which means there is less mess on the floor!

My Ghala loves it, however, all of a sudden I noticed that the bad is full of insects!!
