Good chisel gun for the money!
Quick delivery overnight helped me to continue working on my ancient trailer that I am rebuilding. Purchased the trailer from Home Depot back in the early 90’s and worked well for our needs. Cost ratio is good and the zip gun as we call it around here worked incredibly well. My old one would not provide enough force to break over a dozen carriage bolts that were rusted. This did! The chisels with this are good and not too light. I purchased a different set to use with this gun and the metal chisels were all too soft so went back and used the chisels that came along with the gun and worked well. As another reviewer pointed out, make sure you add pneumatic gun which would help the gun work properly. I had some oil but couldn’t find it and I think it would have worked much better if I oiled it first.

Powerful, reliable, and worth every dollar
I’ve been using this Ingersoll Rand 114GQC air hammer and it’s been solid. Plenty of power for stubborn bolts, exhaust work, and general shop use. The quick-change feature is a big plus makes swapping bits fast and easy without slowing you down. Build quality feels durable and it holds up well under regular use. Definitely a great tool for both DIY and professional work. Would buy again.

Great Quality Air Hammer
The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC Air Hammer is a compact and powerful tool designed for various automotive and industrial applications. This air-powered hammer is built for heavy-duty use, making it a popular choice among professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. After using the 114GQC, I would rate my overall satisfaction level as a solid 4 out of 5. Build Quality:The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC boasts a robust construction that feels durable and reliable in hand. The metal housing and sturdy components suggest that this tool can withstand the rigors of frequent use. It’s clear that Ingersoll Rand has designed this air hammer to last, which is a major plus for anyone looking for longevity in their tools. Value for Money:In terms of value, the 114GQC offers a good balance between price and performance. While it might be on the higher end compared to some competitors, the quality and effectiveness justify the investment. For professionals who rely on their tools daily, the price is well worth it. Ease of Use:This air hammer is relatively easy to operate, even for those who may be new to using pneumatic tools. The controls are intuitive, and the lightweight design makes it manageable during extended use. However, it’s advisable to have a proper air compressor to maximize its efficiency. Speed:The speed at which this air hammer operates is impressive. It delivers quick bursts of power, making it effective for tasks like cutting, chiseling, or removing rusted bolts. The high-speed performance significantly reduces the time needed for various applications. Ease of Removal:When it comes to removing stubborn components, the 114GQC performs admirably. It effectively loosens parts that may be stuck or corroded, allowing for easier disassembly. This feature is particularly useful in automotive repair or restoration projects. Grip:The grip of the Ingersoll Rand 114GQC is designed for comfort and control. The rubberized handle provides a secure hold, reducing the risk of slipping during operation. This ergonomic design is essential for minimizing fatigue, especially during prolonged use. Power:While the power is generally strong, I found it lacking a little bit in certain heavy-duty applications. It performs well for most tasks, but for those needing extreme force, it might not be sufficient. However, it still gets the job done for the majority of users. In my personal experience, the Ingersoll Rand 114GQC has proven to be a reliable and effective air hammer. While it could use a bit more power for the toughest jobs, it excels in speed, ease of use, and overall quality. I would recommend this tool to anyone in need of a dependable air hammer, especially if you are looking for a balance of performance and affordability. Just ensure your air compressor can keep up with its demands for optimal performance.

Best Bang for the Buck - (pun intended)
In the Product Information Manual under Warning (Pages 2 and 3) stipulate: 1. Put 6 cubic cm (6 ml) of solvent in the air inlet and operate the tool for 15 seconds. I used break cleaner. 2. Then put 3 cubic cm (3 ml) of Ingersol-Rand #10 oil into the air inlet and operate for 5 seconds. Note: a. You must hold the trigger all the way down while you put in the solvent and oil or the inlet will not accept the 6 cubic cm’s of solvent or the 3 cubic cm’s of oil. b. You can use a rag or folded paper towel held tightly over the discharge opening of the gun or it will not operate and the solvent or oil will not work its way through the gun. I wore an apron because the spray/mist will blast out. 3. Quick Change Retainer: a. First install the quick-change retainer onto the gun and torque for 4 lb. ft. I used a 3/4-inch internal pipe wrench/grip extractor with the appropriate attachments so the 1/4-inch torque wrench could be used. b. Then tighten the 3 Allen set screws to 9 lb. in’s. Go around in the retainer keeping track that the amount of exposed threads for each set screw is the same until the torque for each set screw reaches 9 lb. in's. I used a digital torque wrench (1/4’ drive) and a 3 mm hex bit socket. 4. Done – ready for use. The gun works great for my application – automotive. I use the SUNEX TOOL Air Hammer Chisel and Separator Set

Good Bang for the Buck! Seems QC upped their game.
So far I've used it several times to "coax" rusted thing where I need them to be with great success. I'm a full time mechanic, and haven't had an issue in the 5-10 times I've had to pull it out of it's draw. I looked through the reviews after puchase but before receiving the air hammer, and I was a bit freightened. As of January 2020, all of the quality control issues I had read about have been fixed. Maybe the contract went to a new factory. Or someone up at the top lit a fire underneath the company that held the contract for IR. Either way, the grip looks good, I see no signs of bad machieing or bad molding. As for the tool galling or deforming the air chisels bits that are provided and being stuck in the quick release: Zero issue. Maybe the steel has been upgraded. Maybe others were putting in 8hrs straight on this tool. I've had zero problems with tool deformation and being stuck. I used some bits more than others. The tips of course so wear, but where the tool meets the bit all if fine. I did read that there where some internal failures as well. So far so good. But this tool comes out for about 15 minutes at a time. Or even less. If this is the only took you used for your entire 8hr shift, maybe look to greener pastures. If this tool is used to break loose a stubborn bolt on a Thursday afternoon and to knock out a axle on Friday. Then is is a good "bang" for the bucks. Over all: price, ease of use, and power are all great in my book. Just shoot some oil in her with every use and it should last a lifetime.

Muito fraca
Propaganda enganosa! Não cumpre o que promete, dinheiro jogado fora, não sei como uma empresa de nome lança um produto que não funciona mesmo com a mangueira de alta vazão não consegue cortar um simples pino de aço.

Better than it looks and amazing value
This isn't a big air hammer, but packs a bigger punch than expected. I've done some concrete work with it and busted off balljoint rivets so far and it handles with ease. The quick attach end is worth a lot and the starter tools gets you going. The adjustments are decent. I'm hoping to set some rivets with it and will report back on that. It's not a rivet setter, but it should do the job. If you are the average DIYer that needs to do a big job this is a great tool to have around as long as your compressor can keep up.

Repeat buyer
Been using this kinds of pneumatic tool since 2012...never broken...well there some minor issues but you can fix it...then i bought a snap-on PH3050B last 2019 and it broke and they wouldn't replace it coz i bought that for the lifetime warranty, apparently they dont do that on pneumatics...and since my old ingersoll is really old i thought i buy me a new one...or two...coz it will get lonely you know...and they still have the same quality as before.
