Great gambrel
This gambrel is very well priced and works great. I raised up a deer with mine already by myself and the self locking design makes it so much easier to handle instead of try to tie the end of your rope off to hold an animal up!! I would definitely recommend

Not a great product
Mine is hard to pull the rope, which makes it hard to lift what they say it will lift. Also, the brake on mine DOES NOT unlock unless you can reach the top pulley and use both hands to lower it. I think the rope is junk and it might work ok with a better rope. Kind of wish I spent a few extra bucks and just bought the harbor freight electric hoist.
