My cat loves this, and so far every can in this 24 pack has looked very moist and fresh when we've opened it to feed him. He especially like the pate texture.

New discovery that my cat loves the flavor. So now he fortunately has two favorites, (chicken liver ? green can) to help him with variety.

Cat approved, Vet approved. We have been supplementing his expensive dry food with a little wet food for many years. Use about 1/3 can a day. I choose this brand because of a vet report. This has not gravy which is a plus according to a vet. Just solid food.

We switched our 4 boys to wet food around a year ago to make sure that they got enough moisture in their diets after one of them got kidney disease. We tried lots of different kinds but there was always at least one of them that would snub one of the varieties we tried. But Friskies Mixed Grill pate is the only kind that nobody snubs so we've switched to that kind exclusively. The one that was sick gained most of the weight back that he lost and has kept it on consistently. Highly recommended!!! Update: knocked rating down to 4 stars because my latest order had several dented cans. This is not the first time that this has happened either but it's been a little while since the last time it happened so forgot about it. Not Purina's fault, I blame Amazon because the same thing happened when we were buying Blue Buffalo canned food from them. But the convenience of using subscribe and save outweighs the occasional can that's dented bad enough that it's unusable. Update #2, Dec 2024: We haven't had damaged cans in a long time so bumping my rating back up to 5 ⭐️. More importantly, our boy with kidney disease has been on Mixed Grill for a year and a half and has gained back all the weight that he lost! It's not supposed to be used as kidney diet food, but he wouldn't eat the diet food and he is eating Mixed Grill and that's what really matters. He's also taking meds and getting IV fluids weekly, so it's not just the food, but I gotta figure that it's been helping.

Problem I had was with delivery. The package was left in the driveway and not near the door. It could have easily done stolen. Love the cat food. It's the only brand we buy.
