This book was the spark that set me off on a whole new journey. Steve’s humour, down-to-earth style and the way he explains things so simply had me hooked from the first page. It didn’t just help me understand training better - it inspired me to take the IMDT 2-day course, which I’ve now completed, and to start my journey as a dog trainer focusing on one particular breed close to my heart. The balance of solid advice with laugh-out-loud moments makes it such an easy and enjoyable read. If you want training that feels clear, practical and genuinely fun, this is the book for you. Steve proves that it really can be easy peasy.

I read this book in a couple of days, not because I sat and did nothing else, not because I'm a superhuman reader, but because Steve's humour throughout makes this hilarious, fun, informative and down to earth - a joy to read. I refer to him like I know him, as it kinda feels that way after reading his book, which I think is a sign of a great author if you really get a "feel" for their voice. I love his training style and the way he sees our bond with dogs is beautiful. If you're getting a puppy, or even thinking of getting one, read this book! 10/10.

've enjoyed reading this book despite the somewhat dry subject matter. The authors explains everything in an easy - and funny - way. It's all about positive reinforcement when training your puppy. I find that I'm now able to apply this mindset to other dog situations as well. The book provides you with all the info you need before getting a puppy such as things you need to buy and consider. It covers basic commands like Sit. Toilet training is a most invaluable chapter. Easy to follow and put into action.

Having had puppies before I had never really achieved the type of training I felt was totally right and I always felt as if something was missing. Something WAS missing, Steve Mann!!! This book has been more of a revelation than I expected. With tips on almost every area of puppy training together with straightforward training instructions and helpful advice I feel fully prepared to start training my birder terrier pup. I particularly love the reward not punishment approach which while not being revolutionary, is made so simple and part of the training that I’m amazed that anyone would use any other way. Thanks to the book I’m excited about training. With fun and informative advice and easy to follow steps training is made fun! Check out Steve’s videos which are so good !i even emailed Steve to ask about the IMDT and received a prompt and helpful reply. All I can say is read this book!!! It’s wonderful!

I don't get my little boy until the 27th December and I can't wait! But at least I've got plenty of time to read, digest and, with a bit of luck, remember the guidance in this remarkable book. I've read 3 books now on how to give your puppy a lovely life, and tbh, the other two were tripe! The first one was breed specific (and contained more than 670 commas on 75 pages, I know, it's ridiculous!) I couldn't even read it properly never mind absorb the info contained within. I'm very glad to say that 'Easy Peasy Puppy Squeazy' is brilliant. It's empathetic and humourous, a very easy and enjoyable read, full of common sense and positivity to help your puppy enjoy their life as much as you will enjoy yours. This book suits my personality, and I know this is my go-to guidebook for the foreseeable future. All my previous dogs have been adult rescue dogs, and had been trained by the time they came to live with me: this is my first puppy.

This book is a must have for every puppy owner. It really is an easy step-by-step guide to raising and training a happy puppy. What makes it so different to other easy step-by-step guides to puppy training? Well, its the style in which it is written. It is so easy to read and understand, explaining everything with just the right amount of information with the added dash of the Mann humour. I have bought hundreds of dog training books over the years and this is the only one that I have actually finished! I think every breeder in the country should buy one of these books and give to the new owners of every puppy they sell. I'm sure this would go a long way to less puppies being classed as naughty and ending up in rescue.

This book tells you how to train your puppy,,,, as it says it does, but it does not tell you what to do if your puppy decides it wants to challenge you, or try to control you while your trying to train it, hence I got a trainer in ,,now all good, and I understand her behaviour which you don't get in the book

It’s such a great book! It’s funny and fun to read. I’ve honestly learned from it more than puppy classes. There are many practical examples and fun stories. I can’t recommend it enough - you must read this book when you get a puppy!

Waiting eagerly for the French translation so I can recommend it for my puppy classes clients :-)

This was an easy read with some great advice - much of it common sense but also many great tips. We have been reading this prior to collecting our first puppy. The author is an experienced dog trainer and tells the reader how it is with humour and sensible advice. Will probably refer to it frequently as we navigate the challenges of introducing him to our family and our home.

Love this training book, it was easy to follow and in a method I think is great for how we want to train/raise our yellow lab puppy

Dieses Buch ist ein Muss für alle Welpenbesitzer. Bzw. wäre es mehr als wünschenswert, wenn man sich schon VOR der Anschaffung eines Hundes dieses Buch zu Gemüte führt. Nett geschrieben, doch ohne Blabla auf den Punkt gebracht. Sehr nützliche Tipps und Hinweise. Kaufen!
