Craftsman Digital 400A AC / DC Clamp-On Ammeter - 82369

I wanted to buy a digital clamp meter via Amazon, so I decided to take a look at the different brands they sell. I found some really nice testers here, but most of them are at a very high price and some of them doesn't have all of the features I need. I read reviews of some different clamp meters in this page and visited some other webpages. I saw this Craftsman 82369 digital clamp meter and I decided to buy it for several reasons: It can measure AC current & DC current up to 400 Amps, resistance, capacitance, continuity (with beep sound), voltage, frequency, duty cycle, temperature, and it can do diode tests. It has mode, range, frequency/duty cycle, reset to zero, and hold/backlight buttons. Nice price and compact size, too. I asked a friend of mine about Craftsman products, and he highly recommended them to me.Power2Wayve, the seller, says it is a used like new product, but when I opened the box I found a product in perfect condition, no stains, no scratchs. It came with test leads, temperature probe, user guide, case. It still has the smell of a new product. Honestly, I think the only thing used was the original box.I have learned a lot about testers, I know probably this is not the best one, but it has all of the stuff I need. Maybe some day I will buy a more expensive one, but I'm sure this will help me get the job done.

Works as advertised. Very nice little unit.

I'm taking a RV Tech course and the AC - DC features of this unit are a great help.
