We have an old 1950s era beach house with lots of original Hardwood and subject to salt air environment which creates its own unique scent. I love it, my wife not so much. Over the last many years we've tried all sorts of ways to Tamper it down and finally realized we just have to use air fresheners. After trying a dozen different types from the plugins to sprays, we locked in on these Renuzit Gel types. We have about four of them in the house at any one time and while they don't take away the classic old smell, they definitely take the edge off without being overpowering. We found that putting these in a window that gets some sun really helps get the scent out however by doing so it really eats through the gel and you have to replace them more often. Anyway, we're going to continue buying these as it's a decent value and really helps make my wife happy, we all know how important that is ;-)

I bought this because I really like the scent! I first started using these in my parents house and my dad doesn't like liquid air fresheners (too concentrated) but these are great as they let out a subtle scent. QUALITY > It's made from 98% sourced gel! TWO WAYS TO OPEN IT > 1) The top. You need to pry UP open the top part (where the hole is), I use a butter knife and go up and slowly position to how much I want to open it. 2) The bottom. Remove the seal at the perforated line and carefully lift up the cone. LONGEVITY > It says about 3 weeks but I never really check up on the cone after I open it, I should... EFFICACY > I don't smell it in a big setting but it works well in small settings like a bathroom or even a closet. REPURCHASE > YES because of the smell. I have a very sensitive nose (can smell pollution from a mile away, if I walked into your home, I can smell if fresh rice has been made, etc...) and I like certain smells and this one one of them! They have a good smell, but seem to be almost totally ineffective. I put three in our dining room which is about 6 x 10 feet, pretty small. Admittedly the window was open a bit and admittedly the dining room in only separated from the kitchen by a bar. I never smelled a thing. I put one on the stairs and once got a whiff as I was coming down. Our bathroom is REALLY small with only 4 inches between sink, toilet & shower. With two of them in there overnight, I never smelled a thing. When I open one, I can really smell it. But placed in a room, it might as well not be there. If I have a different report in the winter when the house is much more closed up, then I will revise this review.

パッケージも可愛く、喜んで購入したのですが、部屋に香りが広がるということがありませんでした。 直接嗅ぐと、もちろん良い香りがするんですけどね。 それから、夏場というせいもあってか、ゼリー状の芳香剤部分がすぐ乾燥してしまったのもマイナスポイント。 ルームフレグランスとしては全く使えませんでしたのでこの評価です。

After the rain if fine in the washrooms. I wouldn't order the scent again. Maybe something like, raspberries. Overall, good.
