Agralan Wooden Bumble Bee Hive House Kit - With Live Colony

Bought as a gift for my bee-obsessed boyfriend. We were extremely nervous that once we opened the doors, we would lose half of the bees at least, because they are in a garden and not a green house. But John, Pedro, Micky, Shanice, Jethro, Bob B, Cheryl, Jessica, Mel B, and all the gang all seem to be present. They are all using the exit door as an entrance and an exit, and not following the rules, so I may have to paint a little sign to avoid queues when they all get their big, fat fuzzy bums stuck in the tiny entrance hallway.... But genuinely couldn’t be more happy. My fella was so overjoyed he cried! Muppet. We will absolutely purchase again next year, as the service was wonderful, delivery great (although the surprise was ruined: we have a sign outside the house to call my chap’s number if we aren’t home, I was at work, they called him, he said “Leave the parcel with the neighbours” and delivery driver said “It says LIVE BEES on the side, your neighbours don’t want it” and so my secret was busted) but that wasn’t the company’s fault! Very happy with my purchase, perfect. Thank you so much.

The bees arrived in good condition. The set up instructions did not match the box delivered. But the bees just got on with it anyway! The bees appear to be thriving and pollinating our allotment plants.

Great product. Really enjoy watching the bees at work in the garden, they've got a really gentle temperament. They've often made my day. Would definitely recommend getting them.
