Very well made- Craftsmanship
Very well made! I intended to return it after i saw it wasn't a Flo-Hive. But opened it bc I was curious. After seeing the extremely high quality & it was all assembled & ready to go, i decided it would be a fun observation hive for the G kids & get honey/comb all in one nice neat jar. And it comes with jars & lids and some cool little accessories. Highly recommend.

Nice unit, but doesnt match standard size hives.
If you only want to have a small hive and collect a small amount of honey as a back yard project, great unit. BUT if you want to add to it and buy a box from say your local supplier of bee products, beware, because the box is narrower. I needed to add a box to mine and went to the local store to pick one up, found out this unit is about 2 inches narrower and the "other" box overhung the side. So now I will have to either make a box or order one. Would be nice if it followed a more standard size, so for that I gave it only 3 stars.

Assembly
It’s really a Langstroth hive, but with the flow hive jars.The problem: They don’t provide step by step instructions on assembly. Can be confusing for first time beekeepers.
