Beesbutter comes in a black cosmetic grade container with a white inner liner, no tamper seal and has the hide-and-horns logo on a yellow label. Beesbutter is made in the USA and should be used on genuine leather goods. Use it in conjunction with your preferred leather cleaner. Compare results to mink oil and neatsfoot oil. Beesbutter shouldn’t be used for polyurethane or faux leather. While it won’t damage these alternative leather products derived from plastic, they will not allow Beesbutter to absorb and do not require conditioning. Beesbutter will soften and darken leather after application and should not be used on suede.

Absolutely amazing!
This is an incredible product!! I've been working with leather conditioners for over 50 years. At first I needed good conditioner for my equestrian tack (saddles, etc,) and later for my leather boots, leather knapsacks and leather jackets. I've tried literally everything, and Beesbutter is far, far superior to anything else I've used through the years. I used it on an old knapsack that had dried out so badly that the leather felt like cardboard, and one application of Beesbutter brought back the leather's natural warmth and suppleness, and an unusable item became perfectly good again. Initially I was a bit hesitant because of the price of the product, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for, and then some. Not only will your leather be more soft and supple than ever before, but you will also be able to condition an amazing number of items. A little goes a very, very long way. I'll be treating all my boots and leather jackets with Beesbutter, and I'm sure it's the last leather conditioner I'll ever use- I won't bother trying anything else because the results couldn't possibly be improved on. Forgive me for being so effusive about this product, but I've tried and been disappointed by so many leather conditioners through the years that I'm ecstatic to have finally found something that makes my leather feel so soft and supple - leather boots, jackets, briefcases and knapsacks at their best. THANK YOU, BEESBUTTER!!!

Saved the boots the went into the washer
Works great. I own several pairs of boots which need periodical care. Used to use skidmores beeswax but it had a deeper petroleum like smell. Beesbutter is more pleasant and earthy smelling. Tried first on my 10 year old Clarks and came out looking new. Also applied to my Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots with the Chromexcel Leather and my Qouddy Maliseet Chromexcel and have been extremely satisfied. Now the real test was my daughters Clark boots that somehow found there way into the hamper and went for a ride in the washer. Completely stripped of protection and soaked in water. Waited for them to dry, recodintioned and couldn't be happier that they were rescued from death. Overall great product and highly recommended.

It was very easy to apply and has little smell
Used Beesbutter on my husbands work boots and 4 pairs of my boys kangaroo leather soccer cleats. It was very easy to apply and has little smell. It did a great job cleaning up an older pair. Check out the before and after on these cleats. The product will liquefy if the air temperature is too warm. So be careful when opening. We solved this problem by storing it in our cool basement when not being used.

Wonderful Conditioner for Leather
I purchased Beesbutter leather conditioner to to condition a Natuzzi leather recliner. I had been reluctant to apply any product to this chair because of its light color and soft feel. I tested a small area first and was happy to see that Beesbutter not only did not discolor the beautiful light yellow leather but also returned it to its soft, supple feel when new. I applied Beesbutter with my bare hands. It melts instantly from body heat, making it very easy to apply and it covers extremely well, including folds and any cracks in the surface. I waited 20 minutes then buffed the surface lightly with a soft towel. This removed excess product and left a beautiful, soft luster which has not diminished since. Unlike other products I had used, Beesbutter had no chemical odor or artificial scent. I was so happy with my first results that I have been using Beesbutter on all my non-suede leather, including belts, jackets, a Steinway piano seat, Ekornes sofa and two side chairs. All look and feel great! Delivery from Amazon was nearly instant; I ordered one evening and the product was at more door the next morning. Beesbutter is a wonderful product. I will continue to use it and, without hesitation, recommended it unconditionally.PS: The packaging is a stroke if genius, a simple tin and lid but with a rubber band belt that holds the lid securely in place and also acts as a gasket to keep the product from drying out.

Use sparingly
The first time I used this it was a disaster. The instructions said to use generously and I ended up with way too much excess wax. Use sparingly, and the results will be much better.I haven't gotten the chance to try out the waterproofing claim, but it does seem like it'd work. My shoes are much softer and look way shinier after using. This can't work miracles, so it the leather is torn or cut this won't do anything. But if the leather is simply dehydrated it will work very well. It does darken your shoes a lot, so you have to be prepared for that.

25 year old docs resurrected!
As a former equestrian, I've used a lot of leather conditioners, this one is great. I have a 25+ year old pair of doc martens that I've let get pretty out of shape the last few years. I've abused them terribly over their lifespan...stomped fires out with them, walked through knee deep water in them, worn them to cement plants, machine shops, and mud pits, then chucked them in the back of the closet for about 5 years. I pulled them out because I missed them terribly, and wanted to start wearing them again. They looked awful. Dirty, dried out, ugly. After using leather cleaner on them, I rubbed this conditioner in, and the leather looks great. All the scars are still there for character, but now they're conditioned and ready to wear. The color darkened of course, but I love it. In the photo, the boot on the left is cleaned but not yet conditioned. The one on the right has just had the conditioner applied.
