Other dried fruit we tried, when left in a treat dish for even 10 minutes, would get soft/stale. Does this mix do the same?

Hi, no it doesn't, It's truly dried fruit but other than the banana chips it's not dry to the point that it's crispy. It's actually not bad, I've tasted it and it passed lol. I mix this with the seed mixture ( I keep the mixture regrigerated ) I give my parrot, he doesn't care for the dried banana or other dried banana chips ive bought, but then again neither do I.

Can we get any reassurance from the seller that these peanuts do not have any mold or traces of aspergillus flavus?

The peanuts we purchase have been tested for aflatoxins prior to shipment. This is a USDA requirement and they must be below 20ppb. We have had no issues with the peanuts. Additionally, any residual aflatoxins would be further reduced in a blended product. There should be no issues with feeding the shelled peanuts for pet birds. Aspergillus is primarily an environmental contaminate from bird to bird or exposure by a bird with a compromised immune system. Healthy birds would rarely develop aspergillosis unless immune system is compromised and living under poor husbandry conditions, wet or high humidity and wet bedding contact. There is no concern with the peanuts in this product.

Will this work for parakeets/budgies?

I agree with the other responses, a little big for the smaller birds, so just chop into smaller pieces, also my macaw loves it

Is this product sunflower seed free?

Yes, it's stictly fruit and nuts, no seeds at all. My parrots love it. I feed it as part of their regular diet.

My Amazon and Conure love these treats

These treats are wonderful! The bag consists of peanuts that are both in the shell and out of the shell, some peppers and fruit treats. There are also some coconut shavings, raisins, cranberries and banana chips. My Amazon just loves these treats and I give him a little each day with his dinner. He really loves the shelled peanuts are his favorite. My conure loves the fruit pieces for dinner every night. The entire bag smells so yummy like fruit. And it is packed to the top with treats. One bag will last me 5-6 weeks and it stays fresh the entire time. The bag has a good seal that stays closed. I have cockatiels and have tried to give them these treats but they only like the peppers and coconut slices. I have other treats that I give them. Just wanted to let others know that my cockatiels do not favor this item as much as my Amazon and Conure. My birds really love these treats and that makes me happy because they can be so picky. I have gone through so many different kinds of treats until finding this one that they both like. This is a treat bag that I would recommend to my fellow bird owners for sure!

Variety of fruit mix

A favorite treat for my feathered babies. My two parrots enjoy the mix of various fruits and nuts. They don't eat all of it, picky little babies. However, they do enjoy the fruits in the mix. I have an African Grey and Yellow/blue cheek amazon. Wish they would have a larger bag.

Bird treats are always expensive, but the bag is pretty big. Worth getting this over a smaller bag for $10.
