Beautiful, but outer coating came off in less than a year
Not sure if I bought this through Amazon, but it is the same bucket. We've used it as a 'wine cork holder' on our bar as a nice accent and had a lot of compliemnts on it. We finally actually used it for ice/wine chiller this past weekend. When I went to rinse it out, there was an outer plastic-type layer that started to peel off. Underneath is still the same great stone look/work, but not as glossy. Also, when it peeled off, it came off in pieces and I couldn't get the whole thing to come off so it doesn't look great now, The bottom copper edge came off with that plastic piece too, meaning it wasn't really copper it was just a plastic coating.Would I recommend this again? Depends on what you want. It's still beautiful and would be better if I could get the whole plastic piece off now, but it may also have issues with water now that the coating has peeled off. Your call...
