He really liked this gift basket, I also got to have a tasteand I really liked it as well. I will purchase again next year. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Regrettably unpalatable *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2015* Bought it as a gift but ended getting some back... unfortunately, I regret to say that the packaged smoked salmon was extremely dry and smelled and tasted like cat food. It was so bad I threw it out. (Granted, I am not sure what vacuum sealed smoked salmon is supposed to taste like, but this didn't seem to be it.) Did not try the other things other than 2 of the packets of salmon. This may have been a fluke, and they may usually have good products! ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Sadly he said the fish was dry and he would not recommend it. I hate posting negative reviews *by V***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2014* Darn I bought this for my Stepfather's 90th Birthday. He loves loves Salmon. Sadly he said the fish was dry and he would not recommend it. I hate posting negative reviews. On the positive side the basket was beautiful and a good size. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/9486984-smoked-salmon-seafood-lovers-red-gourmet-food-gift-basket](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/9486984-smoked-salmon-seafood-lovers-red-gourmet-food-gift-basket) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
