Magnetized my screwdrivers and bits. Much stronger than expected. After a week still strong enought to hold one of my Precision screwdrivers.

I only tried it when I received it and it would not work, only about 1 percent, so I threw it into the trash, wasn't worth trying to send it back, 100 percent disappointed.

Ok if you want something Magnetized and don't have a magnet around. Total rip off if you would like to Demagnetize something, it just doesn't work. I rarely return something... but this is going back.

Works ok, but you really have to let the bits sit in the magnetizer a while. I had an electric-powered one that was awesome. You could fully magentize something in 2-3 seconds, to the point that it would pick up several pounds and would draw items to it. This one has a small magnetic field on the item you apply it to, but it has trouble with even a single screw (on good steel tools) if you don't give it 4-5 minutes in the magentizer.

looks like it does the thing it's supposed to. It's a good size so I probably won't lose it.

I don't care what the old saying is, old dogs CAN learn new tricks! Until I stumbled across this, I honestly never knew these things even existed at the consumer level. Certainly not at this price!I'm a tool junkie to some extent. I don't buy tools I won't likely use but I do like to peruse the tool section at big box stores, discount tool stores, and the like. I don't ever remember seeing one of these anywhere locally.For years, I've been using my 12 volt battery charger to magnetize my screwdrivers, etc. To say this is so much simpler (and safer) would be a massive understatement. This gadget is also incredibly quick. Less than a second & the tool is magnetized/demagnetized.IMHO, every toolbox should have one of these.

Works well, fairly priced, if you need one this one will make you happy.
