16G Plain Shield Helix, Ear Cartilage Cuff Barbell (Sold Individually)

This is really cute, but poorly designed. The bar is exactly the length of the width of the cuff with just enough sticking out to screw the balls on. The problem is that I have itsy bitsy baby hands and I can barely get the thing on because there's basically no extra room for your fingertips to screw the ball on. It also made it very uncomfortable to sleep in. I don't know how other people (with larger fingers) were able to get it on at all without bending the cuff.Getting to that, the cuff is so rigid that I had to use pliers and some serious muscle to bend it to make of wearable.In short, it is beautiful but very poorly designed. It should either have different dimensions or be malleable enough to bend to fit your ears. I still love them (I bought two) and wear them, but I would have bought something else if I'd known that they would be so difficult to get in and sleep in.

The post was huge and I had to stretch my cartilage to get her to fit. I have a high pain tolerance so I stuck a thick ol safety pin in my ear to stretch it. Sadly I the screw on ball came off and was never to be found seeing how tiny it was. Other than that it's good quality.

Love the concept, however I have a feeling a ball will be lost down the line because it is some what tricky to thread it on tightly. Internally threaded would even be better, but overall, not bad!UPDATE: I did end up losing a ball. I think my best bet is just order an internally threaded barbell from some place else and it will work better as externally threaded is awful and the balls do not stay on well enough like internally threaded.

Perfect fit for my helix cuff piercing. I have a severe nickel allergy and these have held up well to every day wear so far. Well priced and sturdy. Might need an assistant to help you put them on :)

Not sure if this is real surgical steel.... my piercing is very very irritated, even though I thoroughly disinfected the jewelry before putting it in and my piercing has been healed for over a year. Very cute, not too terribly difficult to put on.

I ordered one for each ear and I'm glad that I did! I get so many compliments on these. I found it takes a bit of practice to get them in but once you get the hang of it... piece of cake. I also found that the balls are quite small and are a little hard to work with, especially if you have long nails like I do. I shower with them in, sleep with them in and they don't catch on my hair. Very comfortable to wear. Will be ordering the different colors. Thanks for making such a wonderful and unique product! 💓

Update: bar broke in half yesterday. No pulling or tugging, just felt it fall down my shirt and saw that it had broken. So sad because I loved this piece.

It is very cute and was easy to put in my ear. It's also extremely lightweight - I can't even feel it in my ear.
