The watering globes saved my plants while I was away for a few days. They are made well and look pretty in my planters. They are easy to use and are an adequate size for my needs. They are great value.

I got these to replace similar watering globes that were broken. I needed globes that could hold enough water to last about two weeks, and these seemed to do the job. While they were empty when I returned from a 17 day trip, the plants looked like they had been recently watered and were all in good shape. These are glass, so a certain amount of care is needed. However, the globes seem sturdy and they are attractive. My only gripe is that they are tricky to fill. The tubes is quite narrow, which makes it a bit tough to have both water and air move though the tubes simultaneously when filling the globes. A bit of patience helps, so one star off for this. But they do work. It is recommended that you use a pencil or similar object to make a hole for the tube so it doesn’t get clogged with dirt when inserting into the plant. Take reasonable care of these and they should take care of your plants for a long time.

This is my second set. I place them in an outdoor planter filled with snapdragons. . Yea///after a year, one of the balls split at a seam. Not bad after a year of weathering. Biggest surprise was when a critter drug them across the yard. Guessing racoons.

These are beautiful and they will efficiently water your plants for approximately 15 days. However, they are extremely delicate. If placed directly in the sun, they will crack and fall apart. All four of my globes broke this way, but I ordered them all again because they are so efficient and so lovely. Round two however, will not be placed in the direct sunlight.

I purchased a set of these 6 Large watering globes and a set of 4 Extra Large watering globes. There really isn't much difference in size between the two. Not worth spending more on the Extra Large ones. Otherwise, they seem work pretty well. Don't think they'll last two weeks. I've got about4-5 days out of them. Maybe my plants were a little dry to start. Hoping I can go a couple weeks without watering once the plants get fully watered. Edited 7/21/25 I’ve had these for a while now. Randomly they are breaking when no one is around. Last night the 5th one broke. It just broke off below the dirt line and fell on the floor. This one didn’t shatter. Two have shattered when the fell on the floor and two others have just cracked and leaked. These broke after they’ve been in the pots for a week or more, not while I was putting them in or taking them out. Not sure I want to keep using them. Glass is a pain to clean up! Hoping I can find some plastic ones. These are dangerous.

Acabo de regresar de un viaje de 2 semanas y funcionó a la perfeccción. Mi planta aguantó y todavía sobró un poco de agua. Tienes que asegurarte que no se libere toda el agua antes de irte y que vaya goteando de a poco. Sí los recomiendo.

I went away for vacation & used these beautifully coloured watering bulbs for my indoor plants. They’re large enough to handle any size pot & worked very well.
