my old drive was on its last legs so I gave this a go. Got it installed and windows installed in under 30 minutes. Really easy. Should have ordered one with more capacity as its nearly full already!

Does what's on the tin
Was looking to update my HDD to a SDD however I didn't want to spend too much and this was a brilliant option, I'd recommend to those in a similar situation.

Spot on.
Works great on my Mac. Faster boot up. I found cloning tricky and needed to reformatted the drive a few times with no problems.

Worked for a year then Failed
It worked alright for a year. It then stopped working. Still showed up as a drive but any attempt to use resulting in the computer freezing up. Don't waste your money on this low quality cheap product. Instead get a Samsung, Crucial, Sandisk SSD which will last years longer. I've got a Sandisk SSD from 6 years ago and it still works.

I bought this SSD (which arrived as a HIKVISION brand, rather than an Adata brand) on the 31st of August to use it as a boot drive for a PC I barely ever used. 3 weeks in, the PC became very slow and eventually I started getting Read Write errors until the PC could no longer boot (28th of September). I already surpassed my return window 2 weeks ago. Money gone down the drain.

So first thing’s first, this is a cheap SSD. It’s just a step above an old mechanical HDD, and does not have a cache. That limits its read/write speed quite a good amount. However, for my (somewhat niche) needs, it’s just what I needed. I’m using this SSD as the OS boot drive for my budget TrueNAS server, and it’s been chugging along without any SMART errors or mysterious slowdowns. If you’re trying to save money, it’s a good option. If you want something blazingly fast, get an SSD that has a cache.

es mucho mas rápido que la competencia de kingston v300 o su similar en la misma marca kingston, sobre sale por su precio y fácil instalación de todo tipo de disco duro sata, imprescindible para laptops mx (las que dio el gobierno) las hace mucho mas productivas o para cualquier tipo de laptop que desees acelerar en cuanto a sus funciones de oficina y tareas domesticas multimedia (audio y video), mejora sustancialmente cualquier pc donde se instale con tiempos de carga increíblemente buenos.

Facile da montare, ha reso il mio PC Comaq notebook, comperato nel 2009 molto veloce e quindi ancora usabile. Consigliato.
